this album would have done 1mill out the door around 05 when Shady/G-Unit/Aftermath were still the TOP label in da game. the buzz for the album is still there but in reality NOBODY cares about the DETOX as much as we did years ago. Dre is afraid of failure and i think he knows that his album isnt goin to live up to expectations. another reason i think it wont come out or flop is because DRE is experimenting with all the wrong shit. 'Need A Doctor" is terrible and sounds nothing like a DRE record. when "Kush" came out i thought he was on to something because of the sound of the record. both Chronics had G-Funk and Gangster Rap on it and i dont hear any of that from wat i ve been hearing besides "kush".

DRE needs to stick to the concept of the first 2 successful Chronics.

i agree, dre is looking for that sure shot... but to me the old chronic formula wasn't broke, so why fix it? i know cats like the game and other l.a. artist ran the whole 64's, good weed, and gangbangin shit in the ground, but damn. drop that classic shit you known for mane, not no techno bullshit.

Dre is good at what he does, and has done in the past but im not Checkin' for Detox and never really was, dude time has passed, and i dont know if majority of the people even give two fucks about it , it doesn't discredit what Dre has done in his Career but i mean who really cares if Detox really comes out or not...

Dre should scrap everything he has and:

1. Take it back to G Funk

2. Limit the guest list to older West Coast rappers like Cube, Snoop, Daz, Kurupt, Bad Azz, Xzibit

3. And get some new West talent like Pac Div, UNI, Blu, Fashawn, Kendrick Lamar, and Jay Rock
