i don't think people want to buy an eminem led Dre album, I think emined should not really be involved in Detox

From a conduction stand point as well as the final mixing of the album…no doubt it’ll sound stellar compare to what is out current whenever Detox drops.

And Em may have a few verses and write all of Dre’s. But heads need to understand, Dre never sold himself as a rapper/MC that spits flames and he is not a beatmaker, but a producer, much like a conductor.

Plus he started NWA, made the Chronic,and started Aftermath. Not to mention he discovered Snoop,Eminem, put 50, and Game on. Made them all stars and household names.

People be talkin about ghost producers like Mel man and focus but if they were that dope where are they now. Scott Storch is the only one that for a limited time made a name for himself. I think Dre is a perfectionist and was scared that this album wouldn't match the first two

Are we still mixing up this whole beatmaker and producer shit after all these years? People might be submitting music to him, but best believe he is adding shit to the tracks, be it drums or mixing. As for what has he been doing, producing for other people (50,Game, Jay-z,Eminem, Mobb Deep, G Unit,etc) or doing that Beats headphone shit. Dude doesn't even need to put out shit, his legacy is set and he is paid.

Dre isn’t a beatmaker or even just a "producer”. But more like a conductor in the studio. He's a guilder of the song writers ,MCs, beatmakers, musicians and engineers.

And like you said, his conducting skillz and legacy is cemented. Plus he made the Chronic and discovered Snoop and Em.

Beats being great is as much opinion as songs being good, but one thing is factual is that he doesn't have a large volume of work that's been released for an eleven year time period...especially when the work for his own album isn't being produced by him, when he's known as a producer.

But producing isn’t just producing . A great deal of conducting goes into making a track also. Not to mention the final mix down of the track.

So even if you don't see Dre name of the credits....best believe his conducting present was there. Not to mention Dre started NWA, made the Chronic, discovered Snoop,& Em, put 50 on and Game. Sold mad units, awards, movies and commercials. And his headphones are the number 1 selling in the world. Not to mention he’s a perfectionist

Eminem's been Singing since 1999 check The MMLP he was Singing on a lotta Hooks on that Album and as far as The Eminem Show he was Singing pretty much on almost every Hook on that Album, same with Encore Singing on most Hooks and same with Relapse and once again same with Recovery pretty much Sung the Hook on every Song on there

That is Eminems formula he Sings the Hook or atleast Harmonizes it especially when he isn't doing The Slim Shady persona type joints

His fans luv it cos the Hooks are so catchy

Since he dropped 2001, there has been talk about his final album being "Detox". And how he was working on it. I remember when GRODT and The Documentary dropped, all the Dr. Dre produced traccs on those albums were said to be traccs that weren't good enough to make "Detox". But after hearing what's been released so far and is supposed to be on Detox, I as a fan of music am highly disappointed. Dre ain't even producing the songs that supposed to be on his album, and we already know he doesn't write shit, so what is the point of a Dr. Dre album if he's not the producer? What has he been doing if he's not been making classic beats for his upcoming album? Hell Kanye has released 4 albums in that timespan to critical acclaim all the while producing hits for many different artists in different genres of music.

We obviously know what Dre has been doing. He has been putting tracks out and and growing new artists. Btw those GRODT tracks were supposed to be for Detox, not its scraps.

As for what the point if of an album that doesn't have him producing? I don't know. He gets a lot of leeway for being a producer, so it's not really unfair to expect a new sound from him, especially when he did it twice already.

Based on the three songs we've heard it sounds like Detox will be a massive dissapointment.

How much more will it sell then if it was to have such a big influence from Eminem not just him featuring on a lotta tracks but actually him Writing Dr Dres Lyrics as well as Eminem Producing a few tracks on there too

Even with out that it still gonna do good numbers but i can see it doing great numbers with Em's influence we only gotta look at Recovery right now it has sold 6 million worldwide and 3.5 million in the US
