Draft combine this thursday/friday a week away from the lotto and a little over a month till the draft. To say I'm geeked would be an understatement.

This is like a Magic fan's NBA Finals Game 7, right?

Cant believe im sayin this since its utah, but i kinda hope jabari ends up there. Parker, kanter, favors and burke. if the bigs magically turn the corner thats similar to how okc, gs, and portland became players

Orlando, philly, and milwaukee r wastelands right now

Compared to the other lottery teams talent wise and commodity wise, how is that not true?

Boston has Rondo (huge commodity in a trade) and Jeff Green

Lakers have Kobe and will get FAs

Kings have Cousins

Detroit, relatively speaking, is loaded w/ talent

Cleveland, relatively speaking, is loaded w/ talent

Meanwhile, Orlando has....Tobias Harris and Oladipo

Philly has MCW and...whats the ngga that been there forever and still has no position....Thadues Young. Get him outta here.

Milwakee (yuck) has...Brandon Knight and the kid with the long name

Not even close.

Your reaching to prove your point.. which you don't have. Orlando and Philly have just as much talent as any team in the lotto and a shit load of cap room to add to it. Not to mention 2 lottery picks in this draft. The bucks also have plenty of young talent and cap room and will probably land the first pick. Orlando and Philly roster especially after this draft and off season>>> any of those teams you listed. Those teams are far from wastelands.. in fact they are the polar opposite of a wasteland. Cleavland?? Detroit?? Sacramento?? Those teams were supposedly past rebuilding and ready to compete and yet here they are in the lottery with the rest of us. LA probably has the worst roster in the NBA. Will they get a Superstar? Maybe but that doesn't always guarantee success(that Dwight Howard trade really helped). The Celtics were ass even with Rondo and he's on the way out.

Name names bruh. Who do these teams have...scratch that, what ALL STARS do those teams have?

Not potential, but actual all star selections in the last 2 yrs. That counts out Jameer

Every team i listed has guys who have been selected in the last 2 yrs---Oh sorry not Sac, Cousins (22 n 10) isnt actually an all star

Forget young talent. Young talent lands u back in the lotto.

All of the teams i listed have young talent but they have HIT, meaning thy're's actually living up to the talent NOW,not about to, not could, not should. I'll give you Utah as team similar to Orl, philly, and milw. Other than that those other teams r in far better position

Sixers is a bad team now with a bright future.

Rookie of the year, noel, two picks In the top 10, and cap money to sign 2 Max free agents, Thad young is a trade peice. fuck you talking about?

Actually sixers are In a Better spot than the celtics. They don't have a max player who they will have to move at some point in time.

Of the teams you listed only 3 of them have all star and none franchise players. Kobe is on his way out.. Kyrie is Stephon Marbury the remix.. and Rondo won't be on that team next year and even if he does they sucked with him last year and they'll suck again nh. Young talent is everything. These teams are trying to follow the OKC/SA blue print and build organically through the draft and eventually FAs. It doesnt happen every day that a team like Miami comes along and puts together a super team.. Most of these teams spend years just middling 7th or 8th seeds who getting knocked out in the first round and second round every year. Aside from Kyrie the Cavs have fucked up their picks in the lotto which is why they are still there.. Same with Sac and Cousins. The pistons jumped the gun and paid Josh Smith and Jennings big money.. they almost immediately regretted it and were trying to move both at the deadline. As a result of that they have two immovable contracts and probably have to let Greg Monroe walk due to that. Drummond is all they have and their cap room is fucked for the next couple years. Boston and LA will probably bounce back soon due to their pedigree and those draft picks. No bias but both Orlando and Philly have the brightest futures of all the teams in the lotto except for the Yankees... I mean Lakers

You mentioned all the other teams without adressing the 3 teams i targeted, and u named naan names. Dont tell me why other teams wont make it, tell me why those 3 will and who do they have to do so? You cant

Thats the point. No shyt that teams want to follow the OKC model (Hey, why dont we just draft 2 future HOFers!), but thats not feasible. So dnt forget the more feasible variation of that, the Potland, Indy, and Wash models: hit on 2 or 3 all star caliber guys (Wall, beal, george, hibbert aldridge, lillard), then instead of pilin up on unproven young guys, git some vets in there and win now. (D. West, nene, gortat, etc)

Detroit, sac, cleve, r poised to do that. Orlando, philly, and milw are at square 1 bc they have, in my humble opinion, ZERO potential all stars between them, maybe oladipo. They r all on the 'hope we hit a home run and draft a savior' plan.

Damn this nigga loves to argue...With all due respect bruh you don't know what the fuck your taking about..

To put it in a nutshell, lets say 1 of the rooks is a a bonafide superstar:

If he goes to LA, they'll buy a crazy team around him. Its La

If he goes to Boston, u right, nothin there, BUT rondo is a huge asset to trade

If he goes to Sac, u got Cousins, usaiiah, and gay. U got somethin there long, term very GSW -ish

If he goes to detroit, even if monroe is gone, u got drummond and smith, somethin there, immediate playoff contender

If he goes to phillu, orl, or milw, they're righy back in the lotto next year

id say orlando has potential, oladipo, afflalo, and vucci mane la flare are all nice pieces imo. idk about all star level but they all can produce at a high level barring injury.

Lol Potential to do what exactly? They have the most hollow roster in the league lol afflalo still has 'potential?' Damn near every team in the league doesnt have an Aflalo? K. Lol I will just agree to disagree with yall

Im an honest man. I forgot they had NO's pick.

Still, i wouldnt use the word 'bright' for their future. Their cupboard is bare and i believe Noel is just Dalembert 2.0. MCW's ROY waa more the sign of a bad draft class

All depends where that pick lands. If they're lucky and the NO pick moves up to top 6 or 7, they're in business. If its 10 or lower, who cares

And money for 2 max free agents doesnt mean much when theres nothing there to entice quality players. Thats when u end up overpaying for a Josh Smith

Philly is in the same position as when they drafted Evan Turner just 3, 4 ys ago. They had turner, holiday, iguodala, young, lou williams, etc. Nothing.
