^^ Jabari staying, at least he'll get to play 3/4 instead of 4/5.

He's going to avg 20+ easily. I don't know how good Okafor is but if he avgs 12-15ppg Duke will have a good chance at going deep in the tourney

Parker coulda declared 3 weeks ago and still hasn't made his mind up and those quotes sound like someone who wants to stay +Okafor is his boy I said months ago I wouldn't be surprised if parker returned for his sophomore year to play wit Jahlil. They'd both be top 5 next year.Matter of fact 3 chicago hoopers could be top 5 picks next year.Parker and Okafor definitely,Alexander possibly

He's nice. NS and Lavine have similar playing styles but Stauskas is obviously more seasoned and Lavine is the better athlete. It's a toss up between those two but I think teams will bank on ZL potential.

So if Parker is leaning towards staying, why is he taking so long to say he is staying? I think he is coming out. Fuck Duke. I bet them pilgrims was calling him all kind of niggers when Duke lost in the first round. Why make money for Duke when you can make money for a nba owner, who will actually give you some back?

@af.r.i.c.a.‌

So Clint Capela was a non-factor at the Nike Hoop Summit?

Didn't see it, I need someone to upload it to YouTube.

Not surprised.. Dude is raw but will probably get drafted mid first just because of his potential and measurables. What players stood out?

I like Mudiya. Haven't seen a pure PG that size in a long time. Like I said earlier in this thread there's an unusually large group of prospects at Center with this class plus Dakari/Tarczewski/WCS coming back next year. The center position is slowly but surly making a come back.

I think thats a typo, bcos i cant find a single video/evidence that he has ever passed the ball. nice handles though.

That's the thing.. He can score at will but he's a PG at heart. It's high school I expect these guys go for theirs but when he gets to college he can be a little more unselfish because the skill level of the guys he plays with will allow him to give up the ball more often and not have to worry about guys missing wide open looks. Streaky shooter but other then that he has the complete package. Larry Brown is gonna coach him up which should help.

So I'm watching Chad Ford talk about Stauskas and hit it me, "what would Don Nelson do?"

Why not turn Nik into a Steph Curry-lite clone?

College basketball doesn't get you ready for the NBA, the games are totally different

Nah. I can't agree with that statement completely.

I mean it's true for the few small amount of elite talents out of every class that are NBA ready the moment they step off that HS graduation stage. However, for the majority of players who aren't one and done, the right program, coach and system can improve your potential NBA productivity.

The coaches who run pro-style offenses based off NBA principles like PnR sets, high and low post action, spacing the floor via motion offensive sets and heavy switching on man to man defense with a packline influence, drastically aids player development.

Elite D1 programs also have big athletic budgets that enable them to hire world-class strength and conditioning specialists.

Yes, the NBA is worlds apart from college basketball and the college level may not mean shit to the elite 1% of the population that are NBA ready out of highschool but for the majority of players, college basketball helps. Getting drafted after being in the NBA D-League is also a decent option now to improve if you don't like the college route, Glen Rice Jr. did it after he got kicked out of G-Tech last year and PJ Hairston after getting kicked out of UNC, is going to do this year.
