Exum was the only player in our top six not to do some sort of workout for NBA GMs and scouts. Sources say the Bucks got to visit with him in L.A., but it wasn't in a workout setting. But that doesn't seem to be hurting Exum's stock at all. As Kevin Pelton and I pointed out, not only is Exum a sleeper on many draft boards, but the analytics say he might be the second-best player in the draft. The Bucks are very high on him, and contrary to the ongoing storyline that no one wants to play for the Bucks, they are having Exum in for a visit and workout. The Sixers and Magic also are fans of Exum, so I don't think he slides past the Jazz at No. 5.

I agree the Jazz will most likely select him, but I highly doubt he gets past 4. I would love to see some of his workouts. Exum has off the charts speed and a quick first step from a guy that tall is scary. At 6-6 that makes him a scary talent. I guy that fast and then you NBA rules where you can't get physical on the perimeter. He will be on the FT line like Westbrook. Right now he is a quicker more polished MCW that has a chance to be a 6-6 Tony Parker. That is a matchup problem for most pgs

Yea I like that Tony Parker comp. They are very similar but obviously Exum has better size. I don't know man.. I just don't want to be the team that takes him. He is the player in the top 8 that's most likely to be a bust imo. I love the fact that the Bucks are working him out and there seems to be mutual interest. That would guarantee us Parker or Wiggins at 4

The 6-6 height just gives him an advantage. At worst he is a 6-6 pg who can't shoot but can get into the lane off his speed. I say it will be hard for him to be a bust like an injury will take it. I actually think at worst he is MCW. Even though at 19 I think he is better than MCW. That just makes him a matchup problem for most pg's/teams. and it makes the other team rotation messed up trying to defend him. He is no lock for superstardom but I think at his worst he can be a good complimentary player at pg.

At worst MCW? Lol Stop it. At worst he's Shaun Livingston post injury and to take a guy like that with the 4th pick in a loaded draft that would make him a bust. He might have a higher ceiling then most of the players in the lotto but he also has a lower floor. Worst case for Jabari is Tobias Harris.. Worst case for Wiggins is Trevor Ariza.. Worst case for Embid is Andrew Bynum. Ill take any of those ahead of Shaun Livingston. That's the reason I'm starting to lean more towards Smart. His ceiling isn't as high as Exum but it's pretty damn high especially if he improves his shot selection. Smarts floor is probably Jarret Jack.. as far as his ceiling I've seen him compared to a number of guys... from Jason Kidd to Dwyane Wade. That might be a reach but then again it's called a ceiling for a reason. He's for sure the safer pick of the 2

Yes at worst he is MCW at this point in time that is what I am sticking with. So I am talking MCW of this year. If you want to say Shawn Livingston at this point in time ok because that is a good player. Livingston is a guy who could start and be at the level of MCW of this year if he had the green light to shoot and the usage of MCW. The problem is the depth of PG's he probably will not land in a role where he gets that role where he can get the green light like that to put up high numbers.

When Livingston actually played high minutes when Williams was hurt he put up some nice numbers I am unbiased bruh MCW numbers are inflated because he had the green light. In Exum I see a player that is going to get in the paint has good enough court vision but can't shoot. They both have the same strengths and weaknesses.

That's some bullshit. I'm guessing both of those GMs were picking outside the top 6. Probably slandering that nigga so he falls a little further in the draft.

We're a little over two weeks away from the 2014 NBA Draft, which is regarded as one of the best drafts in recent memory. According to ESPN's Chad Ford, the Philadelphia 76er's and Chicago Bulls are two teams who are looking to move up for a better pick in the star studded draft.

The Sixers actually have engaged the Cavs about moving to No. 1. They aren’t willing to give up both the Nos. 3 and 10 picks. But a combination of No. 3 and Thaddeus Young is a possibility. And it’s a great scenario for Wiggins, as well. Of the three top teams, his camp prefers the Sixers as the best possible fit. This could be a win-win for both.

The Bulls have been trying to move up in the draft to get an elite shooter. Their target has been Denver with an offer of the 16th and 19th pick for 11. If they get there, Gary Harris or Nik Stauskas will be the guy with them likely leaning toward Stauskas.

Y'all would probably throw in a couple of those second round picks plus maybe Wrotten. I wouldn't do it tho if I was the sixers. There's a decent chance Wiggins will fall to y'all anyway and even of he doesn't you end up with Parker or Embid smh. They must really not want one of those guys. Probably Embid.. which leads me to believe that if the trade doesnt go down and Philly stays at 3 with Wiggins and Parker going 1 and 2.. There's a chance the Sixers pass on Embid for Exum or someone else.

dont hate...let a nigga dream..

The Cav's are going to fleece the Sixers. They will be happy with Parker or Embiid but now they will probably come out with a nice ass trade.

#1 and Varejao for Thad Young and #3. They get Embiid who they probably wanted the most and Thad Young. Thad wasn't signing with us anyway but I was hoping maybe Thad for a future 2nd

I am almost certain we want Wiggins over Embiid. Noel is the center of the future that may be able to play PF but a frontline of Noel and Embiid will just be too raw on offense. It also leaves two wing positions open which we must fill. I can't see us selecting Embiid happening

Joel Embiid was believed to be the likely number one overall pick in this summer’s NBA Draft, and that was especially true after he looked strong in recent workouts by all accounts.

But given the fact that he is coming off of back surgery, the medical tests privately conducted by the teams in a high enough position to select him will play a more important role than the workouts will, and at least one team reportedly didn’t like what they saw.

From ESPN Cleveland:

.@TheRealTRizzo: Sources tell me Joel Embiid's physical w/ the #Cavs did not go well. Enough red flags that they won't take him #1 overall.

What’s interesting is that this comes just two days after a report out of Milwaukee stated that Cleveland was locked in on Embiid at number one overall.
