To play devils advocate 3 of the OL are high draft picks so it ain't they half assed put it together they just haven't played well.

AP couldn't get yards behind this line so I can't completely shit on Jax

TD tried to get younger this season and it's backfiring

I said that they half assed because most of them are bust and poorly evaluated before being drafted. Besides Blalock none of them ever played well for more than 1 season.

I never shitted Jackson. I'm saying the same thing that you are about the piss poor run-blocking. Put a 7th round rookie RB back there and you'll get the same results if you're going to put that sorry ass O-line on the field. Don't pay a FA nothing at all. Give that 2 mill a veteran O-lineman or a proven situational pass-rusher.

TD didn't just try to get younger. That nigga went Pedo with this roster. In other words, he went too young too fast. They aint ready.....there's no player development involved at all besides Konz. He wouldn't even have any game time experience if Reynolds didn't get hurt last season. Mike Johnson was going to be our starting RT because he played TE on goal line sets and during the Giants' game.

I agree to an extent but I understand what they were trying to do. With the contracts that were coming in the future (Ryan, Spoon, Julio etc) they were gonna have to start finding younger and cheaper starters (basically players on rookie deals) injuries just sped up the process more than they wanted to

I wouldn't call it poor evaluation either cause Holmes and Konz are basically rookies and they're playing like that (inconsistent, getting schooled by vets) the vets are the ones that have been a major disappointment Blalock and Reynolds are getting folded in the middle and Baker look like he caught TD with the contract year rope a dope.

There are no flawless teams in the NFL no more. That died in the 90s. Every team is gon' have glaring holes, but you have to be healthy and really good at a couple of things to overcome it.

Our defense is no different from last year. Except we're missing our best defensive player and we're no longer forcing turnovers like we were.

We all know what's going on offensively. Only move that can be questioned right now is how Dimitroff sat on that 6 million in cap space we had after Ryan got his new deal.

We could've used that on some defensive depth on some camp casualties that are no longer available.

At least we'll have that cap space (and some) for next year. Blank bout to go ham.

The trading deadline is at 4 p.m. on Tuesday and a persistent rumor is that the Falcons might trade him back to Kansas City, which improved to 8-0 on Sunday.

“It’s up to them,” Gonzalez said. “If that’s what they want to do and that’s in the best interest of the team, then that’s up to them. It isn’t going to come from me. I’m not the one asking for a trade. I love Atlanta. I love playing with these guys.”

Gonzalez appeared sincere and was already talking about facing the Carolina Panthers next Sunday.

“We have Roddy (White) coming back next week so I’m a little bit more optimistic,” Gonzalez said. “I’m tired of getting double-teamed. I’m not going to lie.”

Lol I posted it more for the Roddy part than that bullshit rumor that's just the media trying to create a new story.

Besides KC got that one and done swag to me

midweek Rise Up.

Shouts out to Dimitroff not panicking and doing anything silly at the trade deadline. Either win with what we got or just re-up in the offseason.

Got all the respect in the world for GOATzalez, but we gave him enough money and enough perks to ride this out.

FLOWERY BRANCH – Falcons tight end Tony Gonzalez met with the media today and said he’s glad the trading deadline has passed.

“I’m happy to be here,” Gonzalez said on Thursday.

He felt the entire trade situation was overblown.

“I never asked for a trade contrary to what (some) people have written and what people have said," Gonzalez said. "I never asked for a trade. All I said was that I’d be willing to listen if they’d got an offer. Whatever they wanted to do. I’m here. I looking forward to the rest of the season."

I just wonder if the guys in control of this team will finally make the moves they need to fix this roster. They are still saying that they like this roster so we will see. They need to work on the O-Line and that defense needs a few new faces, especially in that front 7.

The good thing is they are forced to play these young guys so by seasons end they will know what they have. Get some of these niggaz off the roster that are just collecting a check.

They have ignored the problems with this team for too long and its come to bite them in the ass this year when we had some injuries. Time to fix this shit.

Fa sho.

Interested in how Matty will play. He feels some type of way about carolina. He might go off.

But of course, I ain't worried about our offense. Last week was the only game of the season that our offense played bad all around.

Our Fuck-Nikka Defense will again be the x-factor.
