First game where I can honestly say HD balled out.... what has it been? 4 years?

And when he had decent games in the past, I had to chalk it up to Julio, Roddy, and/or the run game leaving him in soft coverage (or no coverage.) But him getting 140 yards in the first half playing with 4th and 5th string receivers is impressive.

Thoughts from last game

-Ice is that nigga. No explanation needed

-Running game still sucks hopefully Jax coming back will help. The OL did do a better job in pass pro tho

-WRs stepped up too. Might be time to call the Kevin Cone experiment a wrap tho cause he got his PT snatched by 2 niggas who didn't play before Sunday

-Our secondary is the strength of our defense and Nolan finally adjusted to it. Tru and Alford are gonna become a dangerous duo and Asante can still contribute (even though he looked terrible on the Jackson TD).

-Alford should not return another punt

-Still haven't seen Worrilow do shit (Bartu is playing decent)

-Run defense is stout

Yeah, I'm noticing a steady improvement in Bartu. His ceiling ain't that high, but all I ask of a undrafted LB is that they're in the right place and take the right angles on the ball. If they're gettin' dipped on, juked, or ran over, that's fine, but being out of position is frustrating as fuck to watch.

Funny how back in the "no back2back winning season days" we always kept a good punt/kick returner but now we've went damn near 3 years without one since Weems left.

We need to give Drew Davis a legit shot at being a factor on offense. Especially with the injuries, but even if Julio and Roddy were healthy I would like to see him get involved more. Seem like nothing but good shit happens when the ball goes his way.

As for Matthew Alouicious Ryan -- damn.

Offensive line has been shakier than Ali on a roller coaster, both top receivers been gimpy, No running game but...
