Ooooo Kill em

Smitty might keep us all in suspense until Sunday morning.

He walked off without a limp, so he'll probably just chill for the week, treat it, and then play Sunday. I doubt he misses more than a game - max.

Yea I saw Babs out there. A lot of the young cats got a lot of PT yesterday, and that boi Bartu looked good mane. Steven N. better watch out. Bartu needs to get more PT.

To many injuries yesterday tho. I hope this is not gonna be one of those years where we cant get healthy.

O-Line got beat up on yesterday. They looked better than last week but they still gotta get better. Ryan was getting up off the ground all day yesterday, that O-Line gonna get him hurt.

Snells looked good when he got some carries but we couldnt really give him the ball a lot because he had to play FB with Ewing getting hurt..... Speaking of that how the hell Ewing and Jackson both get hurt just falling to the ground. Run game was non existant with Jackson and Ewing both gettin hurt early in the game.

Young corners looked good again. Alford got beat a couple times but other than that they looked good. McClain continues to impress and Trufant should have had a pick-6, he gotta make that play.

I just looked at a few sights to see about these injuries. Looks like we may lose Biermann and Ewing for the season....

I think Smitty held out a few of the players yesterday because we were playing the Rams and we were up 21-0 at one point. Jackson, Spoon, and Asante all probably could have come back into the game if we needed them. Even though the Rams made a lil comeback I dont think Smitty felt that we were in danger of losing that game.....

Thoughts

1. Julio- I don't even know what to say about him anymore. If he stays healthy he's gonna be the best receiver in Falcons history.

2. Jop and Dent have definitely upgraded the LB core from weakness to a strength. Everybody knew what Spoon was capable of but Dent in the running game and Jop in coverage are both doing their job.

3.The inside of the DL is doing a great job in the Running game but they have to be more consistent getting pressure up the middle so these QB can't step up from Osi and Mass.

4. As much as I like Alford and McClain Trufant looks like a future shut down corner. Dudes technique is damn near flawless and it's only gonna get better. The future looks bright for the future

5. The O line has to do a better job of Keeping Matty clean. As much of a real nigga Ice is you can tell that Vaccaro hit is still fucking with him.

6. Quizz has been disappointing this season so far. I know Jax isn't coming out that much but he still hasn't had a impact. You can tell Kutty gave up on the running game until Snelling started running

And last but not least I can admit that HD has improved and is not a fuck nigga anymore but he still is not a consistent enough threat

- I actually think Dimarco is our best blocking Fullback anyway. He may not be the all-around "H-back" type athlete that Ewing allegedly was, but he's a classic pancake-keep it movin type fullback.

- Almost every quality run we got in the preseason was behind Dimarco's waffle house blocks.

- I'm officially a "Hi-Top Jop" believer. Dude rented a apartment in the Rams backfield yesterday. Much quicker and more athletic than Nich. Kinda like having two Spoons instead of one as far as quickness and athleticism.

- Matt Ryan does not get enough credit for his toughness. If he played for New York, New England, or Dallas or some shit - you would hear about it all the time. But dude has taken a gang of hard hits in his years and he just bounces right the fuck up like one of those punching-clown bags. lol

- Co-sign Allday on Quizz. He gotta stop stutter-stepping behind the line. Just hit the fuckin' hole (nh). And we need stop running east-to-west period. Unless we give Vaughn some playing time - we don't have a speed back on the roster. North and south.

- HD is stepping up a bit. We need to stop throwing "up" passes to him in coverage tho. He's not physical like Julio, Roddy, or even Davis. He gives up on the route if he's not wide open. That's INT type shit err time.

- Bobby Ro-Mack looked solid again. Givens gave him that work on one route, but Given's is fast as shit (burnt Sherman last year too.)

- I swear if I see us go another obvious passing down (especially 3rd down) WITHOUT blitzing I'm gon' have a seizure.

- Last but not least --- Gaaaaaat damn Osi is fast. Nolan's zone blitz paid off on that INT, but I wanna see Osi using that speed more to rush the QB. Get creative on that shit instead of him just edge-rushing himself out of the play.

Yea Biermann was a high motor guy but he really wasnt all that. Him getting hurt forces Smitty to play the young dudes more, now we at least get to find out if one of them will step up and break out this year. Someone getting hurt is never a good thing but it might actually turn out to be a good thing........

I still wouldnt mind the Falcons hollering at Seymour, we need a better push up the middle mane. We are struggling again to get pressure on the QB.

Am I the only one kinda worried about the miami game? I know they have beat the Brown's and Colts but I got a feeling that it may be a tough one...... Heard that boy Grimes got a pick yesterday too.

I don't sleep on nobody in this league. Certain shit will get you beat by anybody. Shit like...

- QB on his back all day.

- Turnovers

- 3rd and longs all day.

- Too many 3-&-Outs

- No pressure on the QB.

- Not converting red-zone opportunities into TDs

etc, etc. We had close games last year against the Raiders and Cards based on the shit above. And we did most of that yesterday too.

We refrain from that shit and we can blow out anybody.
