The best OT available is my guy Jamal Brown out of OU.

Former All-pro, 2-time Pro Bowler.

For the right price that would be a strong pick up. He did have a hip injury that sat him down all last season tho.

as far as the RT position is concerned....

TD will see how Lamar Holmes and the white boy from Valdosta State(Schraeder, UDFA) plays on Thursday. For some reason, TD doesn't want to spend that cap money we got left over(I think he's saving that cap space for Julio's contract next season).

Common sense tells me that he'll bring in an OT for the Vet Minimum within the next two weeks but if he's not best RT on the team he will be cut. Aint nobody got time for no 2nd best RT right now. We can pick up another UDFA from the practice squad to be a back up much cheaper than a million a year.

And keep in mind Clabo was a UDFA too.

I know the young guys stunk it up out there, but I was just glad to see some Falcon football. Not only that Mat Ryan looked good out there, Osi got some pressure, and its obvious that the OL and DL will be a work in progress this preseason.

Alford = mvp of the game. Trufant's starting chances are lookin' shakkkyyy baaaby.

Observations

-Matty ice ready to go

-Lamar Holmes has a long way to go

-Harry Douglas can now go 15 yards without falling

-Osi is definitely a upgrade over Abe

-Mass looks like he could be a pass rush specialist this year

-Alford has a good sized lead on Trufant

-Coffman looks better (didn't see enough of Lo)

-Dom Davis looked shaky at first but somewhat regained control (Still has to do better to keep the backup spot)

- I like what Zeke Motta did (most of our backup DBs suck tho)
