Can a nigga get one full, healthy season from Spoon?

He was borderline pro-bowl caliber last year but those missed games fucked that up. Good thing about it is that unless he has a first-team All-pro year this year, he won't cost as much to re-sign.

Between Spoon and Willymo I'm starting to think it's a Mizzou thing lol

So you sayin' Blaine Gabbert got bars?

Lol I meant the injuries. But it wouldn't surprise me if Gabbert got bars it ain't like he's working on his immaculate QB skills.

I can see it now Gabbert gets cut signs as a 3rd string QB with the birds and then

W.A.R remix (Zou mix) ft Spoon and Gab

Spoon is probably my favorite player on the squad right now, but...

We didn't have too many problems with him @ Mizzou.

Shawty Lo is the biggest wild card in that draft class and possibly the team.

I got the feeling he's going to either get double-digit TD's (red zone money-man) or be a non-factor.

I'd say Mopanga will be the team's rookie of the year honestly.

I'll be back for my negrodamus points in about 6 months.

Coffman got folks checkin' for him after that clutch ass catch in the playoffs, but he still gotta show me a lil more.

He's a underachiever so far, cause he was a highly-touted 3rd rounder out of Mizzou and he's been a disappointment in the NFL overall.

But he definitely has the tools.

I just hope him and Shawty Lo realize the opportunity that they have.

1. They get to learn first hand from the best that ever did it.

2. He's definitely gone next year so if one of them steps up this year, they could step in his shoes next year.

Our tight end will have the opportunity to pile up stats next year no matter who it is simply because of Julio, Roddy, and Jax taking all of the attention from defenses.

Damn @ the talent Mizzou had a few years ago.

Spoon, WillyMo, Coffman, Jeremy Maclin, Chase Daniel, etc, etc.

Too bad it didn't end well....

I'm still not sold on Coffman dude really had one play the whole season.

And in Lolo's defense he was a starter at Starter at Stanford over 2 other NFL TEs till he hurt is knee so he has the talent.

Let steel sharpen steel then.

I'm sure they'll both be trying their best to impress GOATzalez too.

"Tony, what you think about that route I just ran?"

"What's your name again, kid?"

All I know is that if Julio makes the same amount of improvement from year 2 to year 3 as he did from his rookie year to year 2...

Megatron might be the 2nd best receiver in the league by December.

After a couple of days with the Falcons, I like the look of those rookie corners. And Julio Jones will be even more explosive. Scary?

Trufant with the ones. Alford really athletic

Will be a nice cover player -- not as good as Trufant, who is woking with the ones

Alford officially signed.

If he's smart he should show up for the next mandatory mini-camp trying to show off.

He won't take the 1st team spot from Tru just yet, but he could make the leash shorter if he goes out there and plays just as good as Bobby RoMac while Tru is absent.

Me either. Probably wasn't. It was voluntary and next week's is mandatory so he'll be at that one.

Then again, they only really talked about 3 or 4 players.

I wish every team did like a scaled down version of "Hard Knocks" that was only viewable online.

That would be a money maker for the league. Charge like $50 for access to all of the episodes or something (plus ads and sponsors, etc.)

Helmets and shorts don't mean shit, but...

...Shawty Lo looked solid out there from what I've seen on AF.com.

In his college highlights he looks kinda lanky and off balance on some plays but he's put on a good 10 pounds, knee brace is off, footwork looks good, and catching passes with his hands only.

On the flip side, Malaciah looks kinda stiff for DE. He's big, long arms, etc. But he was running a cone drill and looked like he was on ice like he didn't wanna slip and fall.

iono. I can't wait for full pads and preseason games so we can get some real looks at these youngins. np/nh
