way too early to tell, he had to get accustomed to a new team, new town , then he got hurt, and also in the start of the season he was trying to hard to justify the contract, every swing was a pull swing ...

he's hell to deal with when he's going the other way consistently and hitting the ball where it's pitched..

he'll be okay...

Well Gonzo has always been a great hitter as far as pitch recognition and going the other way is his strength , Gonzo played in a horrid lineup in the padres so .280 , .290 + is really good but i always knew if he could get a respectable lineup that he would beast out

when your in shitty lineups you get pitched around so much , now it's hard to do that cuz of that lineup he's in and he's finally showing folks how good he really is ..i use to hate seeing him with the padres , im like man what a wasted player......

But once Carl Crawford gets use to everything i expect him to do what Ellsbury is currently doing ....

LOL Hanley Ramirez gettin ripped by Jeff Connine the special assistant to the President, and he says he'd trade him if it was up to him.

I also would like to know who's gonna be the guy that trades for Upton and hopes he pans out, I'd much rather trade for Colby Rasmus than Upton even though Upton has way more potential.

Rumors are being shot down about him being traded, saying there's really know chance, but someone in the Marlins Office said if it were up to him he would trade Hanley...

Once you throw rumors out there like that teams will come biting anyways even if you say "no chance" ....once you even hint at it your phone gonna ring.

No lie. that call was WOAT.
game went from being an instant classic to a game that was ended on a horrible call.

yea that call was suspect but I only saw the replay on espn and it could've been slowed down, but I clearly saw that he was out. Maybe in full speed it looked more like a bang bang play, but from what I saw it was a clear cut play.

BTW Jonny Gomes got traded from the Reds yesterday to the Nationals for prospects, he should be a nice source of power if he can stay in the lineup aka keep his average up.
