Man, all that shit is irrelevant in relation to the real issue.

Real lady still droppin' that ether because nobody knows what dude's finances look like so you can't speak on whether or not it was a responsible purchase.

The real facts are, like she said, dude actually could afford it because he payed for it. And the cops had no business stopping him.

Shit's beside the point. Nobody in the entire topic said the cops were right for they did. Everyone has agreed they were out of line and wrong. So when there is universal agreement on a subject there is nothing left to discuss, so people went on to discuss other aspects of the story. Of course, any discussion only goes as far as the information presented, and yes that information is incomplete. But this ain't a court of law nigga. It's an internet forum. It doesn't matter that all the information isn't there because no one is trying to convict the dude. People are just dropping their opinions on what the article presented. If the complete story is far different from the speculation in here, then none this discussion really applies. Who really gives a shit? People are discussing a topic to relieve boredom in most cases. No one writing a scathing rebuke of the kid to send to him in hopes that he feels like a dumbass.

I think 7figs is just saying people is taking the importance out of the situation by derailing it on the purchase. This was real discrimination.

Yeah I get it. It was a fucked up situation. I don't think anyone is denying that. And I don't think anyone is saying the kid was at fault or deserved that treatment even if they do think his purchase was unwise. At least that's not what I'm saying.

“It’s not fair . . . the two individuals who have had these experiences listen to Jay Z and Beyoncé, who wear designer clothes," Wendy Elie, the mother of Kayla Phillips, told Daily News. "These kids also like nice things, and they were treated awfully.”

lmao

She still makes a good point:

... Same way with judging a purchase that is expensive. Especially saying it's dumb because he's a work study student, but not if he made 6 figure a year. so thats a discriminatory thought. If it's a dumb purchase for a work study student then it's a dumb purchase for someone making 6 figures.. .

Even if he's a work study student, without knowing his finances you can't make assumptions as to it not being a financially responsible purchase.

A belt aint worth that much money no matter how much money you got.Niggas like this buy cheap soap and toothpaste or toilet paper which are more important.

shout out to the niggas who criticize this dude buying a $300 belt but will spend $400-600 on the ps4 or Xbox one when they drop next month

Stupid logic ...all game consoles are expensive like tvs, phones and computers.A belt is a belt and no matter the price it tears up like every other belt.Never knew any men who wear into designer belts but they have jewelry, homes, cars and other things of value that cost more than a wack ass designer belt.Niggas will nigg though.

u must aint never owned a designer belt..

i got loui belts over 2yrs old.. reversible.. 800$ now lets do some math...

over 24 mnths and my belt still looks like new..

in that time span ud have bought 20 cheap ass belts from walmart.. thats 400$ easy and U WILL CONTINUE to buy them cheap shits..

we basically spent the same on the belt.. i jus paid for mines up front.. and ur payin more for that walmart shit in the long run..

thats the problem wit u broke mu'fuckas.. u think u winnin cause ur gettin somethin that does the same function wit lesser material..

not realizing buying somethin once (quality) is the smarter purchase over buyin cheap shit time and time again.. as if that shit dont add up..

and what nigga u know wearin diamonds and metals.. pushin luxury whips and livin in spacious homes doin all that fly shit but draws the line when it comes to buyin belts!!?

homie u sound stupid..
