NO OVERTIME PAY FOR LOW-PAID MANAGERS

Im thinking the cost of employers paying over time to management would equal or surpasses what they'd spend with an increased minimum wage.

They need to abolish the minimum wage and let employers and employees decided how much they get paid.

So owners can fuck the workers whichever way they please? No thank you.

So that employers can hire people as they wish according to their own plans. And so that potential employees can negotiate their pay themselves. if you don't want to work for what I am willing to pay then seek employment elsewhere.

Government should not be forcing private businesses to pay what they don't want to it's nothing more than government intrusion.

That already is happening though. We don't love in some backward communist shit society where anybody is forced to work. Employees and businesses respectfully can negotiate a pay grade.

Big government is absolutely essential to prevent wide spread corruption and the constant underpayment over workers. We already seen what happens when we expect corporations to act responsible during the gilded era.

I remember my coworker said that he was a supervisor on salary at this box factory. They used to work them 40+ hours. At the end of the year, his workers used to gross more than him.

Shit, about 3 years ago when I was working at the shipyard in MS, I was a salaried employee making some pretty decent coin. Had this guy I worked with and was cool with that made the jump from hourly to salaried, and told me he was making much more as an hourly associate than as a salaried one. Said as an hourly associate he was making more than what I was making at the time on salary. Told me he was taking a pay cut making the switch, and he went from actually out there on the ships to management. He only made the jump because he needed experience in management.

But but Obama never did anything for black people....y'all are retarded

Btw I believe this is a judge he appointed. BUT for novices, senators and presidents make deals on judges from the senators state, so his appointment was likely apart of a back room deal

This will be overturned, the judge trippin

The only thing the government should be doing is preventing monopolies. What moral justification is there for the government to force me to pay someone a higher pay than I want too??

Business complain about giving crumbs now. You think if it wasn't a minimum wage they wouldn't give more?

Housing market would crash and we would have have to live like sardines just to have shelter.

Government interference in the housing market caused a bubble that led to a crash. Businesses will always complain because they want to make the greatest profit imaginable it's in their nature just to look for ways to cut expenses however as long as there are no monopolies and enough competition in the market there will be competitive wages

If big business was left completely alone they would hire ppl at pennies because somebody will HAVE to take the job just to eat and all hell will break loose because it will cause a bigger divide between the haves and haves not

They would try to hire people for pennies. However like I said if there is enough competition people won't work for businesses that pay too low , they go someplace else and so the original place would have to increase what it desired to pay people.

If there's no minimum wage, govt better price control or cover some of the following: transit, health care child care, or rent

@zzombie

There are places that didn't have min wage until recently like Germany

If Germany did it america can do it . I sincerely believe that in some Industries there is no need for a wage floor.

I was at the Pascagoula yard, hourly employees could pull up to 90k a year if they were willing/able to work the overtime. But that yard is a rarity, most non-government places don't pay like Ingalls does. They've got overtime, double time, attendance bonuses, and night shift bonuses.

That's where I was at. Dude I'm talmbout worked with me in the IE group. 90k was the number he threw at me. He took a significant cut then when he left the yard for IE, but he only did it so he could one day be a superintendent. Homie used to complain to me all the time, talmbout "I'm fixin to take my ass back to the yard, they bullshittin on these raises." Lol

Hey genius, it's called job outsourcing and businesses are more likely to do that than the average individual is to simply "find another job". What you won't do, a non-citizen of the United States will for a lower pay.
