MC Thick - Marrero

This track was huge on the Westbank (across the river from New Orleans). Everybody was playing this when it came out. If you from the Westbank specifically then this song is engraved in your mind. Niggas know this by heart. This track came out in 1991 or 1993 I think. Here is the video he did for the song. Sadly like a lot of rappers from this area he was killed in 1996.

Folk

When this shit dropped...awww dayum...

PNC - Don't get comfortable

This is the answer to UNLV diss track they made on Mystikal..shit went hard LOL..man those were the days..

That's when beef was real life shit... I see beef that rappers do today is funny especially when they beef with Baby and Wayne Lol, these niggas were really in some REAL beef back then.. niggas got killed from camps/hoods/etc.. shit wasn't just rapping on wax..when downtown and uptown was beefing Lol..smh..shit was a war zone in the city...BG coined "Chopper City" Everybody had a chopper...LOL..smh.

I was in Cali when I first heard of bounce, it used to get the girls hyped.

Man chicks used to here that bounce and just bend over. Shit they still do it right now. The Bounce sound now has changed with all that crazy/sissy bounce shit. Gives me a headache to listen to but them hoes be moving to that shit though.

Better late then never. This shit was my childhood. Lil B murdered this shit and made me a huge fan of his since he know his New Orleans music history lol

This shit still go hard till this day, This song used to play all day all over in new orleans. I remember the snoop dogg remix and i was exicted lol

Just for laughs

YOOO extra pause at this shit, but i had to post it based on how HUUUUUGE this dude was back then. Outtowners will think this is extra gay, and i cant watch the video fully now, but when i was younger no one gave a fuck because everyone was doing the dances lol or watching the hoes do it. DJ Jublieee had like 200 dances in one song lol

@silverfoxx man dope drop. Those used to get the parties popping especially in college.

That remix used to go hard too.

DJ Money Fresh - Josephine Johnny Remix

That Bunny Hop song got the New Orleans Remix treatment but I can't find it anywhere. That one was great.

Another drop from Cash Money. This one is from Ms. Tee. She was if I remember the first female to sign with Cash Money. She dropped an album called Havin Thangs but Female Baller is her best album. Also, entirely produced by Mannie Fresh. He showed his range on this one.
