but w/o getting into the weeds of it, this vanilla platform has apparently caused a ton of issues. So the move to the new platform was always in the plan. I think everybody's biggest issue, and its a legitimate one, is that, more stuff should've been fleshed out on the beta version before rolling it out to everyone

It was a pleasure being an Ill Community poster for 8 years now... I don't think I will be enthusiastic about this new shit plus I'm a parent now. Every good thing eventually comes to an end I guess

I'm signed up to @_Goldie_ 's shit though and I'm more solely interested in the picture section of womenz..

I don't do social media that's why the IC was kinda 'home' for me on the webs.

Bruh everybody's issue is, the shit sucks. Beta means the foundation is set and besides a few Lil tweaks here and there, that's pretty much it. Trust me I know all about betas

Well, maybe........."getting into the weeds of it"..........would give people a better idea of the logic behind this move.

i was very fortunate to be apart of some convos considering im not a mod, so if the mods that were on those conference calls want to shed some light, then i'll defer to them

all i know is, the vision that was shown looks TOTALLY different from this beta stuff, which why stew is also confused b/c he was on that call as well.

Surely if no one likes the new site then they will have no members the ship will sink like the Titanic... I cant see it getting a whole new roster of posters all of a sudden...

The problem is, it seems like they're trying to make this new site like instagram or twitter or whatever.

Well, you've gotta spend money to make money.

With instagram and youtube in particular, people are getting paid for the content they post.......number of followers, views or likes on content, etc.

So, if AHH isn't gonna pay people for their content on the new site...........then there's no motivation for this "new crowd" of people to come over here when they can get paid for their content on those other sites.

Smartest thing to do, if they want to experiment........is leave the IC alone.

Have this new thing be something separate from the IC.

That way, if it doesn't work..........no harm no foul.

Why not have Allhiphop front page like that and the I.C a separate entirety??? Thats what I thought they were doing when I first saw it...
