That's why they're letting us try it out and get feedback so it's not a open/close situation I assume. We can't try it out and get what we want if nobody is trying.

Whats wrong with the format of the 'classic I.C' that clearly what people want just going off this thread... I understand having to keep things fresh and etc, but the layout is clean and cool as it is... Just have to read through this thread to see that...
I really dont think our opinions are gonna make a difference, 'The Maven' seem to know what they want and are gonna do what their non hip hop listening 'people in the know' up in some office think is the right or 'hot', 'popular' right now to do...

Well, you've gotta spend money to make money.
With instagram and youtube in particular, people are getting paid for the content they post.......number of followers, views or likes on content, etc.
So, if AHH isn't gonna pay people for their content on the new site...........then there's no motivation for this "new crowd" of people to come over here when they can get paid for their content on those other sites.
Smartest thing to do, if they want to experiment........is leave the IC alone.
Have this new thing be something separate from the IC.
That way, if it doesn't work..........no harm no foul.

Ironically, this new direction that AHH wants to go in is basically giving Goldie's site free promotion.
Meaning, if the IC is finished..........then people are gonna flock to the closest format that's similar to the IC.
