No. Taking over a sport means that you are the main attraction, for the sake of this conversation. That was the exchange there, so don't come trying to fleece truths pal...lol...plus

The fact that the players can own, nothing, and still cost the owners this level of jurisprudence processes...at least, proves me right.

at slave auctions black slaves were the (2012 bold) main attraction (/2012bold) at horse races where slaves raced in the 1800's black horse racers were the (2012 bold) main attraction (/2012bold) and when white folk pay 3,000 to watch melo courtside at MSG black folk are the (2012 bold) main attraction (/2012bold).

The nba isn't on some soul train shit....there aint no black CEO's and black front offices or any type of diversity. And the fact they are playing the please the owners and white fans that pay to go to games in theory makes the nba players "house negros" if you think about it. Cause the house negro got to be inside from the shade and had a little better life and they got a little cockier than the average slave. The house negro would get "a slice of the pie" for their work while the feild negro would rather run away from the plantation to freedom and bake their own pies.

I'm sorry. I can't take a Black Hockey player seriously when discussing players standing up for themselves. I just can't.

lmao you still not making your own opinions about the topic at hand you still attempting to make lame black hockey jokes which again as I keep saying is ironic seeing that your life is literally dedicated to being cheer leaders for grown men who rap. make a grown man comment about the issue at hand or keep making tampon female melodramatic off topic comments. you too soft to talk about the nba lockout "b".

people dont want to fight for anything anymore, they rather take what's given

at the same time you could say people too stubborn and have too much pride to come to a simple agreement for the sake of a bigger goal which is pleasing the fans. an even split of a pie is not getting hustled. in the nba or in the real world being subborn (by both players and owners) can ruin a company's ability to survive. most companies are not about profits they are about survival. if the nba which was growing in popularity after last year wants to survive they need to come to a deal and put petty shit aside.

you not getting it

That 50/50 doesnt cover everything and i think its something like a billion taken off the top

The players were willing to consider 50-50(a 7 percent drop) even though its still not a actual 50-50 if some system changes were made but the owners are not trying to hear it. They have not made one concession in these discussions and like i already said are trying to change the rules to cover their bad business.

but part of the reason that they can't fight is because they don't have leverage. Like we have been saying outside around 20 players most of these players are not big names. And even of the top 20 there still are not as many clear cut super stars maybe just 8 or 9 of those. This legal bullshit isn't going to get anything done but delay the season though.

How th'fucc is holding out NOW in order to secure the next 10 years....hurting them in the long run?

Do you ever think, before you type?

Because the players won't be getting a better deal if they lose this court battle. Not to mention all the money they'll be losing it really isn't worth it.

i agree time is money and this court battle will cost players allot of time and money

also the legal fees and fight in court could be years before they are resolved

lol next time you try to sound intelligent pick a random word you research first. then learn how to use it correctly lol
that word means the philosophy of law or collection of rules imposed by authority.
you just said 'the players can own nothing and still cost the owners this level of philosphy of law processes'
or
'the players can own nothing and still cost the owners this level of collection of rules imposed by authority processes'

its not about minimum wage its about accurate value and self worth. regardless of the deal the super stars will get paid. if im a superstar im marketing myself the best way i can getting a shoe deal and staying out of trouble and laying off the social media which is a lose lose situation for rep. lets be 100% honest some of these mid level players aint shit and are over paid which is the problem! if your a super star at 50/50 your still making cake. the problem is people are to focused on the profits of the players and not the survival of your brand and the league. hell like i said before the nba minimum wage is still a shit ton of money. niggas in middle management and top teir jobs work their careers to make the league minimum type money.
