With as transparent as all this shit is now, there won't be enough revenue generated to pay the guaranteed money. Hell, of Roger Goodell got the NFL season extended, this shit would be level 10 catastrophic right now. Both sides are fucking up.

That's the sad thing about the players, too. They're the faces of these franchises. No one can name 10 owners without Google. They make money with or without the NBA. The players, on the other hand, bear the love and hate of the fans. Everybody's going at the players' necks because they're public figures, so people make it sound like the players went on strike but that isn't the case. And when the fans hate, big business flees. Tiger lost like a hundred milli for fucking side hoes.

Owners build these million dollar stadiums and places for their teams to compete.. basically owners set up the stage for these players to showcase their talent for thousands and thousands of people while charging 6 dollars for bottled water. lol. But owners can own teams until a late retirement, and if they fail it always seems there’s always another business that wants a CEO.

Players can only perform this work during a short span of their life, and they put their bodies through all kinds of shit. It's such an elite profession. As an athlete, you basically have a limited time to make as much cash as possibly before the door shuts. I dont think the big team owners are not really dependent on the NBA for their livelihood. Some of the owners probably own a team because of a hobby, passion or something like that or backed by some corporation. so they can wait. Many of the players on the other hand dont have another job. When the paychecks stop coming in, we will see which players willl be the first to break. They will be a huge movement overseas playing ball. lol

Even though I think the players should prob take that deal, its kinda nice to see they are calling sterns bluff.
