Anywho, between the lyricism, and his overall tone in where it actually crescendos to a hyper point in each verse has a quality to it that is different with the rest of Nas's work. He reverses this on the 3rd verse, which further speaks to the mastery of his craft. That's what makes it Top 3 to me. Not a lot of songs Nas puts out have an effect in how he flows with the track AND still maintains his mastery of lyrics.

I feel like its a pressured public vote to say it has to be. Personally, no its not for me. Its a really good song, but not great.
I would really like to hear what makes it so great. Yes im aware and read the lyrics. Yes i know the GOAT Phil Collins is sampled. And Yes i know he is speaking on "my voice is power" type shit but still i dont get what makes it so epic.
