X-Factor #126

Forge and the team finally manage to find the real Beast and take the dark one prisoner. Unfortunately, while they are doing this Havok who still is brainwashed, attacks Polaris and escapes.

Onslaught Saga is heating up! Hope to read most of it tonight.

Uncanny X-Men #336

Almost all of the heroes gather in New York to fight the madness that Onslaught has created. Meanwhile, Xavier & Franklin Richards are trapped within the psyche of Onslaught, and therefore he has the power of both of them, which even begins to change his appearance. Cyclops, Invisible Woman, Storm, Cable, Thor, Gambit and Rogue regroups and Thor is able to rip Xavier out. This, however, makes Onslaught more powerful, as he is now free of Xavier. He unleashes a psionic storm that would have killed the heroes had Cable and Sue not used their powers to protect them all. Sue asks Xavier if he can sense if Franklin is alive, but Charles shocks them all when he reveals that his telepathic powers no longer work! Apocalypse & The Watcher still observe from afar.

Cable #35

Apocalypse finally steps into the field of play and confronts Cable & Sue Richards with a plan to free Franklin from Onslaught via a trip to the Astral Plane, which Cable has to ability to go to. They obviously don't trust him, but go through with it anyway in order to save her son. Of course, when they arrive Apocalypse betrays them and proceeds to try to kill the boy believing him to be a future threat, but Sue Richards prevents it and Onslaught sends them away. Apocalypse teleports away, pissed off as fuck.

Avengers #402

The Avengers team is attacked by Holocaust and Post in order to retrieve some psi-armor that Iron Man built that is a potential threat to Onslaught. It seems as though the Avengers are in a hopeless situation, but through Captain America’s ingenuity and the brute strength of every member, the Avengers lay waste to both of the villains and restore order to New York for the time being.

The Incredible Hulk #445

Hulk rendezvous with the Avengers and argues with Cap about attacking Onslaught head on. He manages to convince Falcon, Hawkeye, Vision & Crystal to come with him. Unfortunately, Onslaught notices them on their way and plays out a scenario in all of their minds where they all die except Hulk, who defeats them and could care less about the rest of them. Afterwards, they all head back distrusting Hulk once again.... oops?

As the Fantastic Four, X-Men & Avengers regroup to plan out an offensive against Onslaught, other characters fight the Sentinels/chaos on the street level (Iron Man, Wolverine, Punisher, Green Goblin, Spider Man, etc).

X-Man #19

Sinister, after kidnapping Nate, tries to use his way with words to convince Nate that his side is where he must stay in order to win this war. Of course Nate won't listen, and then he begins to hear a quiet cry in his brain (which is Franklin Richards). Sinister tells his to block it out as it is a trap, but Nate doesn't listen and is suddenly taken by Onslaught. Sinister is left behind to SMH/Facepalm.

The Conclusion

Fantastic Four #416

It starts out with Nathanial Richards warning the team that if they do not flee this fight, they will all die, as he has seen the future. Then, Onslaught manipulates Franklin Richards into sending images, though they are real to the touch, of all of Fantastic Four's enemies to attack them (Annihilus, Blastaar, Dragon Man, Mad Thinker, Malice, Tyros the Terrible and Wizard). They are defeated quite easily with the help of some old friends who show up, as well as some enemies who are allying with the FF. These include Fantastic Force, The Inhumans, Agatha Harkness, Alicia Masters, Namor, Puppet Master, She-Hulk and most notably Dr. Doom!

X-Men v2 #56

Rogue and Joseph/Magneto are about to be killed by a Sentinel, if not for Doctor Doom showing up. He's kind of disgusted with Magneto, and he pops mad shit about Onslaught.

As the Avengers/X-Men prepare for their final strike, Professor X confronts Onslaught on his own, who now has absorbed the powers of Nate Grey as well.

Onslaught: Marvel Universe

Heroes, Mutants & Villains alike gather for the final stand against Onslaught:

357fr85.jpg

The heroes fought valiantly, eventually relying upon the ultimate force of the savage Hulk to break through Onslaught’s armor. However, this all proved to be a ruse, as Onslaught’s armor gave way to reveal pure, malevolent psionic energy, which would consume the planet if not for the ultimate sacrifice of many of Earth’s greatest heroes. The Fantastic Four, Avengers, Namor, Doctor Doom, and Bruce Banner threw themselves into the energy, hoping to contain it. They succeeded, at the cost of all their lives. Nate Grey and Franklin Richards were rescued from the monster, and only the X-Men remained (as mutants could not enter the psionic energy) to mourn the dead and to be blamed for the loss of the world’s finest heroes.

Something similar to this would be GOAT if done for ALL of the Avengers' stories.

U could burn about 5yrs offa your lifespan reading and then posting scans of their stories.

Yo! You're kilking the game. Do you have time to do this for other books.

Hardly enough time to read these lol.

I figure when I finally catch up to present time I'll read back some classic issues/arcs involving non X-Men, but not every single issue like I am with this. Plus, I'm pretty sure there aren't many great chronological lists of the other teams on the internet.

Onslaught: Epilogue

Charles turns himself in to government custody, thinking he could help, but then he is turned over to Bastion where he is labeled prisoner M-13 and beaten. He winds up saving a little mutant girl who was created at this base, but he himself stays in custody.

^It was a double length book, but the only important info is that he is now in Bastion's custody, who is the leader of the Operation: Zero Tolerance movement.

Cable #36

Cable is on death's door after the battle with Onslaught as his Techno-Virus is spiraling out of control.

5d0w7k.jpg

However, just when it looked to be over, he has an outer body experience with his ex-wife and dead son, where he gains some closure and finally accepts their deaths. This gives him the strength to come back and get a hold over his virus like he has all his life.

X-Man #20

Nate finally finds Threnody and saves her from being killed by Abomination. The two decide they are done running and its time to find their place in this world. Meanwhile Selene, Madelyn Pryor & Trevor Fitzroy make their way to New York to confront Sebastian Shaw.

Generation-X #20

Franklin Richard's is dropped off with Banshee at the school where he will now be staying for the foreseeable future. Emma Frost and M begin to make progress in terms of friendship. Chamber & Skin, who are still on a long journey, meet up with Howard the Duck... this dude is a real Marvel character? Wtf yo, its Donald Duck.

X-Man #21 & 22

Nate & Threnody are basically together now and begin to live together. Madelyn Pryor, who fell for Nate earlier in this series, spots him in New York. Selene makes an offer to Sebastian Shaw to combine forces so to protect themselves from the threat of Operation: Zero Tolerance. She presents him and Tessa with Madelyn, who they obviously recognize as the Goblin Queen from the Inferno storyline. They are... Impressed:

X-Factor #127

The team is interrogated by Bastion, who seems to be very interested in information on Shard, but all members deny any knowledge of her. Mystique escapes to track down the Friends of Humanity who have put a young mutant in the hospital, who Mystique knew in the past. She promises she was track down Graydon Creed and kill him.

I guess we're about to get to the bottom of who Shatterstar really is in the next few X-Force comics, which I'm not too intrigued by, but whatever.

X-Force #59-61

So it starts off with Shatterstar telling the group that he believes he is Benjamin Russel from Boston, as well as Shatterstar from another planet. Safe to say he is pretty confused. Unexpectedly, Rictor returns (the guy who shares a bromance with Shatterstar) and rejoins the team. Turns out all of the files on Benjamin Russel are gone so they visit the Weisman Institute where Star believes to have spent time. The place is abandoned and then Gog and M'Gog (two giant dog looking aliens from Star/Longshot's planet) kidnap Star and teleport him away with Cable. Longshot (been out of the X-Men loop for a minute) shows up and saves the rest of the team from a deadly plane crash.

Cable & Shatterstar are now prisoners of Mojo and with the help of Doctor Strange, Longshot and X-Force are transported to that world where they meet up with Longshot's wife and former X-Men, Dazzler. They invade Mojo's palace and find that Cable & Star are trapped inside a television. Meanwhile in Florida, Risque is confronted by Mimic, Blob and a mystery man who push her to continue as planned.

Spiral informs them she can help them save Shatterstar’s life, although she refuses to reveal her motives. Spiral then teleports Siryn and Longshot inside the holovid where they pick up Cable and the fallen Shatterstar. She takes them to the Weisman Institute for the Criminally Insane, where Siryn once encountered a comatose patient who seemed to bear a mysterious connection to Shatterstar, as well as being identical in appearance to him. Longshot performs a strange ritual in which he places the dying Shatterstar’s soul into Benjamin’s body, thus saving Shatterstar’s life and somehow making him complete. Spiral says something like "she cares for these two with all her heart" so Idk if that means she's his mother or what? X-Force prepares to depart from Mojoworld, unaware that Gamesmaster, who has also somehow been involved in the mysteries of the Weisman Institute, watches them from afar and laughs.

Uncanny X-Men #338

Archangel begins shedding his metallic wings and regrows his original wings, and Ozymandias appears to tell him it is all part of Apocalypse's plans, as he sees him as one of the true survivors.

sgu45s.jpg

In San Diego, Iceman and Cannonball are undercover as members of Graydon Creed's campaign in order to keep an eye out for what's going on there.

Archangel finds himself drawn to a church where Pyro, dying from the Legacy Virus, is out of control starting fires. The X-Men arrive in time to stop the fires and question Pyro, who is about to warn them about a woman who plans to assassinate Graydon Creed (Mystique?), but is suddenly taken by Avalanche before he can say the name.

We also see that Psylocke now has the ability to melt in and out of the shadows.

Cable #37-39

Starts off with G.W. Bridge and SHIELD searching the Weapon X facility, which has been destroyed and all record removed. Cable and Domino are in San Fran where it seems the people of the city are growing increasingly angry. They arrive at an abandoned theater where they find Garrison Kane and Copycat. They are desperate to move on with their lives and stop fighting the good fight. Suddenly, Psycho-Man shows up and has apparently been playing with the emotions of the city. He teleports away with Kane, which was revealed to be Copycat in his form, and Cable/Kane/Domino go after them in a random giant spaceship that appears out of no where -____-

dvo9iq.jpg

They wind up in the Microverse where Psycho-Man resides and team up with the remaining members of the Micronauts. On their way to finds Copycat, Kane believes that he lost her and Psycho-Man messes with his emotions, convincing him that he must kill Cable for what happened to her.

Ok this little saga is pretty wack. They wind up beating Psycho-Man, going back home and Domino/Copycat finally put aside their differences and Kane and Copycat ride off to try to find a quieter life for themselves.

X-Factor #128

Jamie Madrox aka Multiple Man is back! He was supposed to have died from the Legacy Virus, but apparently not. X-Factor was on a government order mission to track down some human-killing mutants and when they did they found out in the end it was him. We will probably get more answers about it all next issue.

X-Men v2 #58

Storm catches Gambit paying his respects to the Morlocks on the anniversary of their massacre and wonders why he cares so much. Later, Gambit fights Magneto because he catches him coming out of Rogue's bedroom, even though nothing happened between them. Meanwhile, Havok seems to be working for Graydon Creed as he is stalking Jonah Jameson, the writer of the Daily Bugle who has been publishing bad stories about Graydon.

[Excalibur #103

The ruler of Limbo, Belasco, tests Kitty, Nightcrawler and Colossus by sending them to some alternate dimension, but they pass the test. We find out that he has captured Margali and taken the soulsword. When the 3 arrive back home Pete Wisdom and Kitty finally say they love each other.

Uncanny X-Men #339

Spider-Man visits the X-Men to tell them that Jonah Jameson has been tailing Gradon Creed, so they tail Jameson. They wind up being attacked by Havok while aboard a plane, who apparently started his own Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. Magneto actually is able to land the plane magnetically when it is damaged and Havok teleports away. Later we see Bastion shoot a human in the head who was about to tell the world information on Graydon Creed's parents.
