Shit is overdone, no balance in the mainstream. But he's right, people are judging MCs/rappers based off of how much money they have or their cars or other possessions.

1. not every "new" rapper is about swag and skinny jeans
2. you want meth to not voice his thoughts because he's not selling as many cd's as he used to??? that doesnt seems to add up
3. meth is from a time period where the good rappers called out anything that jeopardized the culture as a whole, even if it meant calling out another good rapper. this new age rap seems to not stand for anything and just accepts whatever (even feminism in men etc)

the whole .... "he cant talk because he's not as popular as he once was" arguement holds no weight ..... either whats he's saying is right or wrong

majority of the popular rappers today dont even have a platinum plaque if you really wanna go by sales and commercial achievement ... meth has two just with solo efforts ... not even counting the wu group albums he's been a huge part of .... meth has also been apart of atleast one of the biggest hip hop tours in history (hard knock life)

Like I said there's no balance in the mainstream. Overloaded with gimmick rappers.

Growin up in the 90s you had the backpack rappers, flashy rappers, street rappers, lyrical rappers and even some underground rappers gettin pushed on the mainstream.
