I'm cool with my boss, I'm sure she would be like "fuck it, I'm taking one too then."

She's the only boss I would feel would react like this to me though haha

My job has a point system, ever year u start out with 14. You get docked 2 points for using sick days if they aren't consecutive , doctors note or not. You get docked for using personal days if they aren't requested 24 hours in advance.

Shows u how much they care about our mental health. Once you get down to 6 you get a "coaching" basically a warning that u better not call out again. Once you get down to 4, expect to be fired.

Same time, last year I ended up with 150 hours of vacation time at the end of the year. And I got a coaching about not taking time off..lol

Miss me with that crazy shit & bring your ass to work....

Or find a new job....

*I'm a Bause*

What would be the difference between a mental health day and a vacation day?

It would not be a vacation day....

A mental health day would fall under a personal day....

Idk why people put all their business out in the open. Just ask for a personal day and keep it moving....

& it should be in writing a week in advance...

Not the day before in an open email to the "team"...

I don't see the big deal if it's PTO. It shouldn't be a sick day but if she has personal days she's Free to take a day so she doesn't beat somebody's ass.

The only problem I see is the inevitable abuse that would take place... While I see the advantage and NEED for things of this nature...too many lazy, unappreciative fucks would just have field days with shit like this. And being that "mental illness" is probably harder to diagnose AND prove than back pain, companies/businesses would suffer more than prosper or feed morale. The one thing I learned in the supervisory positions that I've worked is that people don't respect "respect". They'll take that shit and take more advantage than necessary every time.

If yo gig is bogglin your mind that much, then you're in the wrong gig...

AND the fact that the CEO included the phrase "...everytime you do..." says that this ain't the first time or a rare occassion that this broad does this...

Man the day i wanted to take a "mental health day" i couldn't because someone was off

:s

That Friday a few months back the system went down and we couldn't do shit i was like fuck this shit i aint coming in on Monday... too much fuckery

By federal HIPPA laws you do not have to disclose why you are using your earned time

Even if employers tell you different

For me I have so much use or lose time they beg me to take off sometimes lol

Love my boss and my benefits

my boss name is Pralims.

like problems with a southern drawl

i swear that nigga think he knows everything.

always thinking he two steps ahead.

i think i need some mental health days

I've always said I'm taking a "mental health" day as like a joke for I just don't feel like coming in today.

People are just weaker now a days.

When our great grandparents were done storming the beaches of Normandy I wonder how many mental health days they took off work when they got home.
