In reality the hip hop culture took the biggest L. think about it.
Not at all
Ghostwriting is at the core of hip hop.
Man hell naw. Niggas woulda ran you outta hip hop in the 80s and 90s if they even got a hint of somebody else pennin your rhymes.
So the fact that for decades now rappers have been open about talking about writing raps for other rappers, yet nobody has been ran out the game for it means nothing to you?
Who?? Who are these rappers that have talked about ghostwriting for a top tier artist for years?
So you've never heard a rapper say they've written for other rappers before? Niggas have talked about ghost writing forever in rap. They don't say the name because it defeats the point of being a ghostwriter but you're playing dumb if you've never heard a rapper say they've penned something for another artist
So..........no examples?
Most recent example I've seen is Jadakiss saying he wrote for other rappers but he didn't really like doing it because it was hard for him to pretend to be someone else when writing...it's not hard to find rappers saying they've written for other rappers. Now name some rappers who've been ran out the game?
So......he didn't say who he ghostwriter for, just that he did it and he wasn't comfortable with it?
So......because he left it open with a vague 'they' how could 'they' be ran out the game if we don't know who 'they' are?
Ghostwriting will always be frowned upon in real hip hop circles.
