I felt the same way like most of yall. Too much gay shit. As far as this first episode, it was better than last season. Pretty much no gay shit and a dope BLM song by Jamal.

Trust me, I was just as ready to give up on this shit but I'm giving it one last shot. Episode 1 kept my interest.

i get that the show is about music but is it me or are the "musical performances" somewhat of a crutch for the lack of actual writing done on this show....like how many times do we really have to see Jamal..."practice" singing a song in the studio...how many times do i have to see Hakeem do his best Jay-Z impersonation?...or even Terrance Howard tryin to get his musical groove back lmao

the show's been comedy for me since season 2.....the spinoff Star is just as bad if not worse....and wtf is Power at to help balance this shit out lol
