it was supposed to say BDS. But its just a way Nielsen Soundscan measures the amount of play a song gets. Something along those lines. I wanna say streaming plays or downloads are now apart of it thanks to Jay.

This album is special. It will definitely stay with me for a long, long time. Lyrically he's from another planet. What Lupe just did is destroy all the bullshit and set the standard for every other emcee in the game. They can't fuck wit him. He aint about just lyrics either. He can really flow his ass off. Deliver alone will prove that to anyone who forgot. Best rapper alive. Excluding nobody.

I went and checked a few of em out this morning. The low rated reviews were aimed at Amazon for their package handling (cracked cases, discs scratched on arrival). Otherwise, in the fan community this is pretty much universally lauded. I wish the media paid more attention to this masterwork. But we can't win em all.

Lupe may not be deemed the greatest artist of all time but I honestly believe he can outrap anybody you put him up against. From flow to wordplay, he can do it all and makes it seem effortless.

I honestly believe it has to do with his public perception. He's outspoken and ayou know people hate anyone that goes against the grain in the matters of society. For instance (ignorant) Blacks don't rock with him because he's not a walking stereotype and is deemed intelligent. I've never undersood that about my brethren. They escew intellect but embrace all forms of stupidity by voilition. I love my people, don't get me wrong, but that shyt is sickening.
