I know but business is business and you got to know when you are wrong. Why let this project under sale. Push some more singles out. Put a remix out. Throw Crack or Snitch out there as a bonus single. Do something.

It's not gonna happen. We almost didn't get this album to begin with. Hell, Atlantic had to be threatened by Anonymous to even give it a release date. It's never been a priority with that label. Lu's gone on for years about the hows amd the whys so I don't really feel the need to explain it/continue beating the dead horse. We got a masterwork of an album. I'm glad about that. It also got him out of his deal which I thinl is best for all parties involved (Lu, Atlantic/WMG, the fans). All we do now is hope that whatever path he takes onward (maintaining independence or signing to another major) is beneficial to all involved. T&Y, marketing-wise, is dead... Part of that is Lu's fault to be frank. A lot of those songs we entirely too long for radio to begin with (no matter how much we all enjoyed em and don't notice as he lyrically captivates us).

just read an interview (im probably late af but idc) where he was talking about deliver and the interviewer said something like "you're lupe, so the pizza man has to have a double meaning or something right?". Lupe said "if you change pizza man to piece of man then the song takes on a different meaning"

Chopper is probably the only song that the trap loving public will gravitate to. But that shyt is 30 seconds shy of bring 10 minutes long. Not to mention it's pretty much shytting on that same audience ctfu

I feel you. And I know you are right. But if I was in charge over there. I drop Lil death, Blur Hands and Tron as singles. I think they all could have worked. They are all the perfect length. You make a great video and you got smashes. Two of the 3 songs got R&B hooks and people like AB Soul, so Tron have been the song to elevate both of their careers. And can you imagine a Tron remix with AB Soul and Kendrick. Even Dots and Lines is catchy too. These A&R over there are dumb. I would work the shit out this project before he left. Also Madonna video could have been done so much better.

Honestly, nothing as far as this album is concerned. Actually I think Lu A&R'd it himself. I'd check the booklet but I got the album put up.

Blur My Hands sounds like it casn be a HUUGE mainstream hit. Like i can easily see it being shown for sports highlights and commercials. No reason why that song cant be played on the radio, shit is so marketable and friendly.

Yes, but again the song's length would be the nail in the coffin. They'd had to find a way to edit it down almost 2 minutes shorter, and with that now you're missing content unless it entices a new listener to actually buy the album or single. This ADHD generation in which we live...

Easy fix....cut it down after the second verse. They done it for other songs. At least for the video. Or make s remix like how Puffy did Give ne one more chances for Big.
