I was just like you at one point.

I used to dismiss shit I couldn't understand, too. I would ask myself "What the fuck is this I'm listening to?"; "What is this nigga sayin'?"; "How can people relate to this dictionary ass nigga?". But then, I decided to no longer be a statistic. And it was at that point, that I became proactive.

First off, you can't compare Lupe with Young Money because they're on two completely different stratospheres.

Young Money is the shadow; Lupe is the light. If the members of Young Money were playing football, Lupe would be the stadium that they played on, and the sun that shown down on them.

Young Money is nothing; and Lupe is pretty much everything (that Young Money is not).

In context, Lupe is appreciated by those who can understand what he's saying.

If you're basing it on lyrical complexity, then I call bullshit because there's no way in hell any member of Slaughterhouse is more intricate than Lupe. Especially not Joell, because he's not even the best outta Slaughterhouse.

Maybe a difference in taste but all of those are solid tracks to me...maybe skip emperor's soundtrack, its not as easily appealin but even then the beat was hot and he still spit
