I got Lupe in my top 10. He's dope as fuck. The only thing that get's me with Lupe is his beat selection. F&L is a classic to me but The Cool isn't.

First of all, his first 2 albums aint no classic. I think Lupe will have a career like GZA, highly respected but his music will not be as transcendent like a Biggie,Nas,Jay,or Pac. His music is too impersonal imo, it's very robotish and 3rd person. Lyrically he is nice as fuck but we all know lyrics alone doesn't make a complete artist, i think Kanye will be remembered as the artist of his generation.

I got him as my favorites. I can't put him in my all-time list yet. Not with just two albums. Like I said, lyrically he's a beast. But what kills me is his beat selection. I loved F&L but when The Cool came out, he killed it lyrically but some of the beats off of The Cool was wack to me. I need another Lupe album though.
