Flip fell off hard musically after he dropped Underground Legend, him and Hump stopped messing with each other and he switched his whole style up. He got more into that gun/trap/hustle talk and kind of got away from what made people like his music. I Need Mine is an underrated double album imo though.

I feel what Keke was saying but like what T. Sanford said what was he supposed to do?

Texas was already in the process of whoring out our culture and T.I. came along and hopped on the wave by aligning with Slim Thug and Paul Wall(two of the faces of Texas music at the time) as well as Trae, Lil 3rd and Hump. Scarface is top 5 d.o.a but he definitely pulled a hoe move acting like he didn't know Flip when he tried to sign him when became president of Def Jam South.UGK was neutral for the most part and were doing songs with both artist but they appeared with T.I. a lot during this time too. So it looked the entire state was riding with the outsider and T.I. was going at Flips neck while he sat back and let it happen for the most part. He dropped some freestyle disses/mixtape but he didnt respond like he should have and like how people expected because of how he broke off 3rd, Lil Flex and ESG.

The only people that were really holding down Flip were Z-Ro, Chamillion and The Botany Boyz. Everybody else turned that back on him or kind of gave him the Mike Jones treatment even though if you look at his first album you see ESG on it, you see Slim Thug on it as well as a lot of other dudes he gave a good look to by putting them on his album.

spot on bruh

@ bolded, I think Pimp was still locked up during their beef but I might be wrong

Yeah you right during the height of the beef but when he I got out I think the first video he did was "Front Back" and T.I, Bun and Slim Thug had did the video for "3 Kings".

Crazy. Last time I seen Flip, ol boy was in some type of car salesmen video or some shit like that with a bunch of weirdo actin white dudes. I have no clue what angle he was tryin to exploit with that one. Shit was strange as fuck.

T.I. wanted to be on the Game Over remix, Flip said no, T.I. aint get his way and started to diss. Flip told yall T.I. was a snitch in '04...

Scarface a hoe ass dude for that "I aint neva seen that nigga" shit...he shoulda stayed neutral like Bun & Pimp.

Truth be told, a lot of them older S.U,C, kats didn't even mess with Flip before he blew up. You been rapping for years putting in work then you have this young dude jump in the game and blow right past you, not many embraced him. Face one of the all-time coldest on the mic, but he pulled a ho' move shittin' on Flip when we know damn well he was still salty behind the kid not signing with Def Jam South.

This post is 100% truth. Nobody's city did them more dirty than Houston did Flip. Rappers and fans alike. Being from Texas in general, you couldnt fuck with that dude anymore or dudes would laugh at you.

Eh, Flip wasn't on that gangsta shit for The Leprechaun album but he damn sure was for Undaground Legend.

Me and my homies used to jam this shit heavy back in Freshman year of high school.

Man, I never got the hate for Flip, besides everybody trying to piggyback off of T.I. during their beef (I'm looking at you Lil' 3rd, you took T.I.'s side and got one verse from him and probably ain't spoke to the nigga since)

And yeah Flip blew up quick but he always had respect for the old heads and even put other Southerners that were coming up on his major label debut (David Banner was on like two tracks on Undaground Legend) and he's done tracks with UGK and not to mention the majority of the S.U.C. so I'm not really sure why so many niggas wanna pull his hoe card. It's not like he blew up and started to act all snotty and shit.

It's crazy because the industry as whole just stopped fucking with him period. Rick Ross and 3 6 Mafia were on his last major album and them cats wouldn't even acknowledge him today.

Lol

At his biggest hit being "game over".......

face was fake for that. How u dont know a nigga u tried to sign.

T.I. believed a he say, she say story from some typical drama loving birds that his wife knew. Flip already said he didn't diss him but instead of TI getting to the bottom of it, he goes on to diss him.

A real nigga would've called up Flip himself & asked him as a man, was it true or not. TI took advantage of Flip because he perceived him as weak. That's why he tried to run up in Cloverland & tried to expose Flip but Botany Boyz was fucking with Flip. If Flip was Trae & ZRO then Tip wouldn't be trying to bust up in third ward to fight.

Lil 3rd is the dumbest nigga out of this tho. TI came to Houston & befriended Lil 3rd for a week & rapped on his song then left. Now Lil 3rd is probably somewhere, flipping chicken at Timmy Chan's
