Remember but them boys is cool with each other, J Cole produced high power off that section 80 album and Kendrick was on Cole's album. Word is them 2 might be dropping a duo album eventually and they both got mutual respect for each other. Cole's gonna retaliate but it's all for who's lyrically better than the other. Jay Elect will def make a comeback but it's all respect.

dude raps lupe eats shea butter, makes fun of asap rocky's hair, disses rappers on instagram etc ....weak
the hardest line was "trying to make sure your core fans never heard of you niccas/ they don't wanna hear not one noun or verb from you niccas.."
yet yall are riding his dick
wtf am i missing lol
I don't think it's so much about the bars as it is the bravado to call out whoever like that during this age in hip-hop/rap where everyone what's to hold hands and sing (literally/figuratively).
and that is somewhat respectable, nothing new in hip hop though ...and people are talking as if he slaughtered people and i'm wondering who did he slaughter
is name dropping a nigga and taking a cheap shot at their hair on a track considered a "slaughter" nowadays? lol
smh. had he not name dropped anyone his verse would have been ignored and forgotten
Naaaaaahhh for real lmao? The verse was dope even without the name drops, but how many rappers you know that even have the balls to go at people the way he did realizing how high profile he is. He even called out dudes he was on the track with and this is just run of the mill? His boldness in this shit is unmatched in this era. I guess it's good to have a few contrarian cats to balance out the scale though.
The verse was dope with some real dope lines, but it started out (& ended) with him just rhyming & rapping with no direction. It reminded me of new Eminem. Aggressive flow with metaphors/rhymes. It's when he switched it up and called people out is what's making people say "KL can't be fucked with."
You cut those bars out & it's a random verse from any rapper that wouldn't get the same acclaim
