Im slowly readin thru this thread, but the fact that NUMEROUS cats r sayin 'big sean verse aint that bad' is why we here in the first place.

It takes a verse like Kendricks to show how average most these new nggas are! Aside from Jay elec, the guys name droped are Average! They get good production and tell oaisionally good stories, but they are not it. Not in comparison to thier pedecessors. What the hell is 90's nice? If a rapper is nice he's nice. It's like when people say certain athletes wouldn't be good if they played in the past. If you're good enough your talent will always shine through. Not every rapper in the 90's was "90's nice" yet we still remember their songs and fuck with their music.

You too busy comparing shit from a decade and 2 decades ago that you missing out on what is actually happening right now. 90's nice makes no damn sense because for one you're eliminating anything that came before then which means you're cutting off alot of hip-hop greats that weren't that big in the 90's but were nice before then. Think about how many legendary rappers who came out in the 80's but flamed out by the 90's yet we still hold them up. Do they not count because they're not "90's nice"? You can't compare actual beefs to this shit because this is NOT a beef/diss. The things you listed were all rappers who had legit issues with each other and it was more than some "I'm the best rapper" shit it was literally on some "If I see you we fighting" type shit. You've heard Beans and Jada speak on their beef. That shit was real beef between two crews who just happened to rap as well. We just happened to get some good diss songs out of it. Competition doesn't mean niggas have to beef and dislike each other, it just means nobody slacks off when it comes to proving they're the best.
