I already stated my ultimate point. What he did was foul and his explanation for it is stupid. I'm not recommending any kind of punishment for him because that's not my place, but people criticizing him for what he did is completely fair IMO.

I've never thought dude was funny. He's kinda annoying to me to be honest. I do think Patrice is funny, and therein lies the problem with what he did. His fans will be there regardless, but him biting someone else may earn him fans he doesn't deserve.

You might have a point cause I dont follow dude. Didnt know his name until today. But that video was pretty suspect. Honestly all he had to do was go the Andy Petite route and admit he did and say it wont happen again. But who's to say he hasnt jacked another persons material? The reason is the nature of stand up comedy. Comics are influenced by previous comics. Comics watch other comedic material and get ideas. The extent of which they copy them can fluctuate, but they ALL do. Especially starting out.

Dude has made his name off of generating interest from the public. If the public has seen what he's done and judge it to be foul, then that's what it is. What percentage was bitten is irrelevant. He's still a biter, and it's possible he still profited off of said biting.

What you're saying is true, but there is a difference between producing something of your own that was influenced by someone else and taking what is essentially someone else's intellectual property, and spitting it like it's yours.
