Word, the amount is irrelevant because the school's policies disallow all academic dishonesty. The Lonious Monk;6122287 said:Gold_Certificate;6122226 said:It is bruh. With a school, there are rules stating that academic dishonesty is not allowed, and there are penalties for it. The student is typically made aware of this in advance.
With this, there is no illegality or violation of youtube's policies. So this is not the same as cheating on a test in school.
And since the current number is that he bit material for 3-4 videos out of around 220, that's less than a 2% incidence of biting.
That's why I said it's like cheating on 2/100 questions on an online non-school-related test; because there is no violation of the law or written policy.
You're the one that started comparing this shit to cheating in school bruh, not me; I was just pointing out the percentage in the post you quoted of mine.
You missed the point. I wasn't arguing whether it was legal or not. I was pointing out that if you caught cheating, it's irrelevant whether it was for 1% of your work or 100% of your work. You'll still be considered a cheater. No, no there is no rule of conduct for Youtube, but that doesn't mean there are no consequences. Dude has made his name off of generating interest from the public. If the public has seen what he's done and judge it to be foul, then that's what it is. What percentage was bitten is irrelevant. He's still a biter, and it's possible he still profited off of said biting.
Youtube does not have such a policy. Hence why I said, "But these are very different things bruh.".
I don't care to justify his actions, I'm just saying the shit you brought up is very different from what happened here.
