Finally got around to listening to this album. It was aiight. A few weak joints though that shouldn't have made the album IMO, but a solid 4 mic album nonetheless. That Jay Z collabo "Seen it all" is the standout track for me. Dope album. I think this needs to grow on me though. I'll give it a few spins. Copped it off GP and waiting for the physical albums so I can bang this in my car though.
I could see why these Tyler the Creater a*s n*ggas like a Stew wouldn't feel this album though. It's not made for those type of n*ggas. Jeezy not doing rap gymnastics on tracks, trying to show how nice he is. If you want that, there's countless other rappers that can provide that. Jizzle just speaking his truth and a certain demographic can identify with that. It's similar to how Eminem albums never have any replay value to me and how I can't relate to the majority of sh*t he or rappers like Kid Cudi like to rap about. Different strokes for different folks and that's what makes this genre so dope. There's something for everyone IMO...
