this was probally my favorite song from the album back in the day...its not even about the lyrical content the the content that was lyrical.

Like the the line thats like "niggas can made it to the dealership but we can't make it to the ballot to choose leadership"

I didnt really fukk wit dis track when it came out, its aight, but dat was a below average verse from jay imo

I had hopes that Ye would represent the conscious element, but that game changed him.

Lesson learned teeth and tongue can say anything but what you gonna do when that briefcase full of money in your face

shining like the Jule's briefcase in Pulp Fiction?

I remember Yeezy sayin in an interview that he got Jay on this one. But he acknowlegded that Jays verse was pre-witten ("I cheated though")

Best collab they have ever had

I dunno man, Diamonds From Sierra Leone Remix is pretty close. I remember when I first heard that, that shit had me hype the way the beat was building up and Kanye was like "You know the next question is 'Yo where Dame at?'. What's up with you and Jay man? Are ya'll okay?" then Jay just jumps in with "Yup! I got it from here Ye, damn."

Never Let Me Down is dope as well though. Those 2 songs are why people had such high hopes for WTT and thought it would be an instant classic.

Yessir, might not be the most lyrical track, but Jay went in and got his point across. One of my favorite Kanye tracks ever.
