J Cole Needs MMG

Cole ain't in a bad position, in my eyes he is just as big of an artists as Ross, i don't see how moving to MMG would benefit him. Manyy people are saying he could benefit from the production as if Ross and MMG are the only artists with access to the likes of The Incredibles, Cool and Dre etc, Cole could get production from them producers if he really wanted to but to be honest its not something that he needs, dude has dropped two critically acclaimed mixtapes with himself being the main producer, Cole is already in a solid position he dones't need to jump on other rappers bandwagon.

For one J.Cole doesn't want Jay Z's help. Secondly what exactly has ross done for his team? Got them on Bet? lol Lastly it's not at all Jay's fault for J.Cole's position. J. Cole has stated over and over that he wants to be his own man. What part of that don't you dudes understand?

I can answer this question:

Rozay has done alot for his team:

they have a single on the charts
they have a compilation album on the charts
they get to go on tour with LiL Wayne & Nicki Minaj

they have Music, Videos & Footage-Vids dropped on the daily

they have a team of fellow artists to collab with and vibe with in the studio

they got their own spread in the last issue of Vibe magazine in addition to 106th & Park visits & buzz worthy appearences on MTV and other buzz-worthy shows.

They got to do Summer-Jam, the Tupac celebration and today they get to do Atlantic City's "Summerfest".

They have easy access to the Hottest production & video-production teams in the game.

They can also be directly aligned with the hottest teams in HipHop (YMCMB-MMG)

So yeah, Rozay has his team on the Charts, in the trunks of Cars, and doing Concerts.

Why some of y'all keep actin like Jay is such a better CEO or label owner than Ross...just because he's Jay-Z?

Dame and Biggs built Roc-A-Fella...If you turn to BET right na, you'll see how...Jay was just a rapper, a personality...A great one, but that's it...And he used his success with that to piggyback his way into other ventures.

All he got on Ross is more money...At the end of the day, both them niggas is just rappers who own labels, and they pretty much know the same people in this industry...But they don't personally run all the business affairs at those labels...So obviously the team of niggas runnin the business at MMG are doin a better job on the promotional tip right na...

So you would say that Ross is just as good of a businessman than Jay Z? I can't co-sign that one. That's like saying the sham wow dude is just as good a businessman than Sam Walton

He needs to try harder? Dude if Cole doesn't want help, he doesn't want help. What y'all want him to bust in the studio and tell him he can either do what he tells him and work with the producers he wants or else he gets dropped from the label? lol

Rap fans hated it but Jay-Z did a helluva job wit Def Jam. Jeezy, Ross, Rihanna, and Ne-Yo. Plus others that i left out.

J Cole doesn't need MMG, how exactly would he benefit by signing to MMG and playing 2nd fiddle to Ross? I've seen many people say production as a reason as if MMG and Ross are the only rappers with aces to producers like The Increidbles, Coll and Dre etc. I'm pretty sure if Cole wanted to work with those producers he would, but at the end of the dayi t is not something he necessarily needs. Cole has dropped two critically acclaimed mixtapes with himself as the main producer, in my eyes The Warm Up is better than any release from Ross, and thats without the star studded production team Ross had working on him on albums like Teflon Don.

What is so blasphemous about that? All that nigga is is a rapper who made the right moves. And that's the same thing Ross has been doin...EVER SINCE JAY-Z SIGNED HIM TO DEF JAM 6 YEARS AGO...I really feel like y'all are just comparin their rap careers and album sales rather than the actual moves that both of their teams are making right now in the present...

Who Dat and All I want is You both charted

J.Cole's album releases 9/27(if his album debuts higher than #5 Cole wins that category)

J.Cole went on tour with Jay Z and is currently on tour with Rihanna

J. Cole has videos dropping(not on the daily)

Cole has a same team of artists to vibe with and record with

J.Cole was pretty much the front-runner of his XXL freshman class, also had a little spot about his development as soon as he got signed with RN, has been on 106&park and actually gotten to perform at two awards shows

Cole performed at Summer Jam last year

Cole has access to those same production and video production teams as well

Cole also has access to the hottest rappers in the game(Jay, Kanye, Drake, Ross)

I understand you just did that to show me what ross is doing, but can someone please tell me what's really the difference?
