Im listening to born sinner right now and I will say its better than I have it credit for. In the mchg thread I said mchg was better but now I think they are about equal, maybe a slight edge to cole.

But I have to burn MCHG again soon to make a full judgment.

I'm going w/ Jay even though Cole's album is definitely solid. Something about Cole is just boring at times.....doesn't really command the listener's attention. He speaks on some real shit and he can spit, but I often find myself nodding off or zoning out while listening. On the other hand, Jay's delivery commands attention even when the shit is wack. I listened to MCHG once and could already quote lyrics from it. I dunno.........I feel the same way about that Wale album. Shit was dope, but he can be boring at times. Imagine somebody more interesting and lyrically capable spitting over those Gifted tracks.....shit would've been a problem.

You have to be in a certain mood to listen to Cole. Jay you can play at any time and enjoy it

Yeah. Im neutral on J cole. I aint buy his cd or nothin. That aint the type rap i buy or listen to. The whole thing seems geared to the ladies. Not hatin or nothin. This place is odd but funny.

cole had more relatable subject matter and lyrics. I slept on cole and people shit on J.cole. because he lacks star quality but he put out two really good albums. Mchg was a swing and a miss to me idc what anyone says. It has grown on me more but oceans and fuck up the world are only two tracks that have replay value. The rest weren't bad but were very lazy and disappointing.
