I look at it like this site is entertainment. When Im out doing things Im listening to whatever new songs are out or classics, etc. At home pretty much same thing. I listen to new and old songs. Im not listening to Jay Electronica I never heard dude in my life or someone like Lupe or Canibus or even much of Nas.Nas is someone who has some songs through the years I jam to if they come on but he is not a prominent figure in my current listening. People you dont really hear about outside any or much outside of here. Its like an alternative universe that's different from whats really going on in my world. This aint to dis any of these type of artists but this is where you get comedy about people I wouldnt hear about otherwise. Thats part of the draw.

Hate it or Love it the after hack attacks than the MMG wars a few years back there was a mass exodus from the forum correlating with my brother from another H-Rap's departure, shit has been stagnant on this site ever since with no consistency in standards for the forum. Now We have non Hiphop lames passing through and only a select bunch of oldhead holdouts like myself mostly lurking hoping for a resurgence after the 2nd lamer than original 80's cycle of hiphop passes in the next few years...
Albums not from the most popular artists or that's not great works don't need stickies. If you wanna keep it on the first page, post in it

Rap is the only music form that rather give credit to new junk then give credit to the older classic music.

Another thing about the reason is that only a few put on new dope artists to be discovered on here. And right now I'ma selfishly plug myself as a new artist because I LEGIT believe if I take a hitaus from the IC and network and build my views/ listens or work with others, people will take me more seriously as an artist.
