J Cole is a self sustained artist and not a dick rider like Drake is "if Jay died, i would probably cry". Dude is taking the long route and that's what i respect about what he is doing more than anything, he is taking the Kanye approach of being a self contained artist, so if Jay was to leave the business he can still functional as a single entity.

Its petty true.... But what if I didn't like Recovery in thew first place, was willing to try and like, and disliked it when shit was constantly overrated by his fanbase. Hell he got some great material that don't compare to Recovery, shit was critically panned too compared to other albums put out that year. But shit discussion among people in the music community is a big part of how we we continue to view music whether we like it or not. Its never just about the music

he isn't building a nuclear bomb from scratch. If in April you set a realase date August/September then he can have the album finished. I'm seeing folks post that he has singles lined up and ready to go. I assume that a lot of work has been done on the album.
