Favre put up numbers in a league before the rules were changed to make it a pass-happy, fantasy/video game league

Plus it's only been 3-4 years compared to a long ass career....I'd wait until at least 3 more years before I put him ahead of favre

thats what im saying

damn near half the lg qbs might hit 4,000 yards and sht............

I will say this:

If he does it all: 50TD, 5 INT...Reg Season MVP....16-0...Super Bowl MVP

My goodness that Monday will be the biggest sports circle jerk in history.

They might put him up w/ MJ, Ali, Babe Ruth, etc...smh

19-0.......

lol I garauntee you this.........

Brett Farve is Aaron Rodgers....as in Everything Rodgers is perfecting is because he watched farve do it, and learned from Farves mistakes......I still give Farve the nod just because I cant see Arod being Arod without being under brett farves wing nonstop

Rodgers is the better QB skill wise, but that doesn't mean he will have the better career at this point. Players fall off, get hurt, get stuck on dogshit teams and never get a chance after that. Who knows.

Lol favre played in the same era as Rodgers.... And Just threw alot of interceptions. Why couldn't rodgers dominate the 90's? He's WAY more accurate then favre.

The NFL has always been a heavy passing league.(Dan fouts, Dan Marino 84' etc)
There's way too much focus on Rule changes and not much on the evolution of tactics and strategy.

People can't probably tell u what exact rules CHanged they just dickride what others say

Lol at the excuses. Rodgers is just BETTER

Think About it like this....farves BEST season was his first with the Vikings....

And Rodgers is on pace to have a better year by MILES...

uh no...they were in the same division so they placed twice, and Favre threw 1 more TD than Rodgers in each game.

So the argument then is that Favre in his 647th year in the league with Adrian Peterson for a running game beat Aaron Rodgers by throwing 2 more TDs than him, in Rodgers first year as a starter...so thats why Favre's is better than him??

no he didnt. not in his prime atleast.

Favre was 31 by like 2000. I dont even remember Brett being young. He's like the Morgan Freeman of football.

Favre threw 33 TDs & 7 Ints at 40 years old. I'd love to see Brett (young in his prime) play now.

Did Brett play in the same era as Rodgers?

YES HE DID. and he threw picks especially in big moments

If u put prime favre in this era he'd do exactly what he did in the 90's...

Throw picks.

Rodgers is a better decision maker no matter what era were talking about.

And let's be real arod's last postseason and SB>>>>>>>Anything favre ever did in the playoffs.

Honestly who would you rather have in the clutch? Favre in his prime or Rodgers now? Be honest

I don't even think some of you niggaz like favre, it just picking the older player for nostalgia's sake when he doesn't do anything better then Rodgers.

I hope your not older than 25....in his prime he threw picks??? Favre's prime numbers once again.33tds,14 ints...38tds,13ints..39tds,13ints..35tds, 16ints. Yeah, lot of interceptions there.

Compare that to Rodgers interceptions lol.... Rodgers is like the least intercepted QB ever lol

Fact Rodgers now>>>>>Favre at any point of his life

Favre almost threw as many picks in one year(2005/29) then Rodgers has in almost 4 years as a starter Lmao(35). There are on 2 different levels

This is too easy...makes no sense because then you can say compare Rodgers TDs to Favre's in his prime. his highest was 30 so far. Favre never had less than 33 in his prime.

No point debating with you cuz you just duck and avoid then jump to a whole nother stat.

And rodgers is on pace to blow any favre season out of the water... So what's your point?

You pointed to interceptions... And I showed you Arod is the least intercepted QB of all time.

Again no one has been able to tell me why he's better then Arod. What does favre in his prime do better then Arod right now?

All I get is legacy, career and 90's Memories.

If u want favre take him, I'll take Arod... Which is basically favre without the picks
