I think the main point that will determine if it's alot of money is how do you spend it...if you're somone like Cap B who values certain material things, then no it wouldn't be...if you're someone who doesn't put alot of value into clothes, cars, etc.. and could care less then that 200K could and probably would last longer...it really boils down to the spending habits of the person being given the money...I know people who don't have to worry about money and can make $20 last a week and people who go day to day spending $40-50 w/ no idea where the money for tomorrow will come from...

Lol...yeah I see what you saying, regardless unless you're seeing 200k on the regular to the avg person it's a lot of money...but to the point of the thread, can it be enough to set you for life...it has the potential to be depending on what you do with it...if I got 200k right now I wouldn't buy a house other than for investment purposes because I don't need one right now, i'm fine with my place..no need for a car upgrade because my car works just fine now...no need for a wardrobe upgrade because I'm fine with the clothes I have now...the assumption that getting a big chunk of money automatically means you have to upgrade everything in your life is false...the people who would blow 200k on stupid shit are the same who blow $40 of their last on stupid shit...

This... no if ands or buts about it. 200k is a metric fuck ton of money. Even for diddy and who the hell ever else. Just because you have it, doesn't mean it's not a lot. You should be able to get on with 200k. That's a house, car, AND education all paid in full if you do it right and coincidentally that's the 3 biggest expenses most of us will have in our life. The only way it's not a lot of money is in the hands of a complete idiot and if that's the case 200 million wouldn't be a lot either because they'll find a way to lose it.
