Another horrible post from you.
you literally won't admit posts in this thread are in this thread, so you have absolutely no fucking room to talk.

You said REPEATEDLY that you think Assad's govt is illegitimate and that you want him to go. Now that you find out that Assad is consolidating his rule, you're suddenly gonna act like him being safer in power doesn't disappoint you? LOL yeah okay. If you are not disappointed in Assad consolidating his grip on power, then just say so.
so here's the thing: i have REPEATEDLY said it's not a cut-and-dry answer like you want it to be. and i have answered this question REPEATEDLY. but since you are pretending that things posted in this thread haven't been seen by you as is convenient, why am i repeating myself again?

you won't even acknowledge posts about Assad that you have replied to before. so just white knight for the fucker and keep it moving.

why can't you ever just admit "Assad is obviously preferable to ISIS running the show, but he's still a horrible monster in his own right too"

this is what Janklow is getting at

Is Assad evil? Yes. Better alternative than ISIS? Sadly, also yes. Boom. See? That wasn't hard.

But you can never do this and that's why I quit this thread like 10 years ago lol, you reflexively throw the cape on for Assad and immediately launch into BUTWHATABOUTIRAQ-

Nobody on the IC has supported the Iraq invasion since there was a G-Unit sub-forum in The Reason. You always turn it into this straw man argument like Janklow is some nigga that wanna gas the Palestinians and roll the tanks into Tehran....

You come off like a WW2 scholar that keeps weirdly trying to argue that Stalin didn't commit any war crimes and the only alternative was Hitler so therefore Stalin wasn't a bad guy, he was just a little "harsh" to all those Poles in Katyn Forest, LOOK HOW MANY PEOPLE HITLER KILLED AGAIN-

Always with this black and white binary thinking where two things cannot be true at the same time. Assad can't be both a cruel, genocidal monster that puts children in rape dungeons AND the only warlord that can stop jihadists from taking over. Its impossible. Can't be equally outraged by the Collateral Murder video and Hamza Ali Al-Khateeb's murder. No you have to CHOOSE SIDES. And since America's middle east policy is SO SHITTY, anybody that's not America is Not That Bad™ by default. America has the COPYRIGHT and EXCLUSIVE RIGHTS to war crimes in the Middle East. Its PHYSICALLY IMPOSSIBLE for Assad to be a horrible war criminal because that would mean the U.S hasn't committed horrible war crimes itself. That's you. That's how you think. You're an anti-war activist caping every day in a dead forum for a war criminal because he (sorta) opposes other war criminals you don't like. Congrats.
yes, yes, thank you

You haven't been paying attention to what I've been saying, I have ALREADY said Assad is not an angel, I know his regime has done some fucked up things. I have also made clear that his crimes still don't come close to America's war atrocities-
two quick, redundant points:

01. "Assad is not an angel": literally the harshest criticism you will levy against Assad, a man who imprisons, tortures and murders tens of thousands of HIS OWN CITIZENS

02. you still REFUSE to utter a single sentence criticizing Assad without IMMEDIATELY crying about how wicked America is. and that is a fucking disgrace.

I have already said if you want to bash Assad here, go ahead. Tell the mountains, tell the hills, tell everyone.

Knock yourself out, it doesn't change anything I have said previously.

So you don't have a cut and dry answer on Assad, although you have said several times you feel his government is illegitimate. No problem. I expect his regime to survive one way or the other either way.

ISIS and their followers have been on a huge rampage these past few weeks, their brutality crossing various continents and over four or five nations. Islamic State officials seem to have been telling the truth last year when they said Trump's election boosted recruitment numbers for them, because the news lately has been shocking. It's becoming obvious ISIS as a terror group is not slowing down, I'll be bold enough to say I don't even think ISIS leadership is in Mosul or Raqqa anymore.

ISIS committed the horrible van attack that killed at least 7, wounded 48 (21 critically) in London just last week and just this morning, ISIS jihadis were bold enough to raid IRAN's PARLIAMENT, on top of shooting at Shia guests in a major Shia monument. 12 dead at least, over 40 injured in the Iranian attacks today.

Ironically, American soldiers attacked and bombed Shia militias affiliated with Syria's government last night in Syria, militias that are fighting ISIS on the ground. As American terrorism increases, ISIS terrorism is increasing as well.......it should be noted that the sister of the Manchester attacker who killed many teenagers and their parents last week blamed American airstrikes killing civilians for her brother becoming angry enough to do what he did.

https://www.yahoo.com/news/iran-attack-gunmen-storm-tehran-074742577.html

Salman Abedi carried out his attack at a concert in Manchester, England, as revenge for the bombing of Syria by the U.S., his sister has said.

Jomana Abedi said her brother was “kind” and “loving”, but had been driven to his actions by American military strikes against Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad.

“I think he saw children – Muslim children – dying everywhere, and wanted revenge,” she told the Wall Street Journal.

“He saw the explosives America drops on children in Syria, and he wanted revenge. Whether he got that is between him and God.”

I did say ISIS as a terror group isn't slowing down, they're still very active in Iraq, Afghanistan, the Philippines, among other places. But as a caliphate, yeah they definitely are shrinking. ISIS as a terror group is probably much more dangerous and unpredictable though, so let's see how the world deals with that. I have a feeling the world won't deal with it well.

As far as Assad purposely dropping bombs on civilians, it's terrible of course. But as we all know by now, America has killed WAAAAAAAAY MORE innocent civilians on purpose compared to Assad. Don't forget what Trump said about killing the families of ISIS. America is quite extreme when it comes to its CONSTANT killings of innocent civilians, word to the many Youtube videos from former American soldiers.
http://www.globalresearch.ca/u-s-holds-the-world-record-of-killings-innocent-civilians/5393789

Prof. John McMurtry says that the U.S. government is a gigantic mass-murdering machine which earns profit through waging wars, and is never held accountable over its unspeakable war crimes and crimes against humanity. He also believes that the U.S. has become a police state, which treats its citizens in the most derogatory manner.

“I have travelled alone with only backpack possession through the world, and have found no state in which police forces are more habituated to violent bullying, more likely to draw a gun, more discriminatory against the dispossessed, and more arbitrarily vicious in normal behavior,” said McMurtry. “The US now leads the globe in an underlying civil war of the rich against the poor.”

“The US can … detain, kidnap and imprison without trial or indictment any US citizen or other citizen anywhere by designating them enemies to the US,” Prof. John McMurtry noted in an exclusive interview with Fars News Agency.

--I agree with about 99% of what the professor says. America has a huge amount of foreign enemies worldwide for good reason. America has way more enemies worldwide then Assad does HAHAHAHA, no coincidence.

For those who wonder why I am MUCH more disgusted at America's FREQUENT mass civilian killings compared to Assad's regime (the Syrian civil war is mostly over now by the way)......
http://www.truthnewsmedia.com/paris...d-ignores-the-usa-uk-mass-murder-machine.html

To date, the USA has been responsible for the deaths of at least 20 million people since the end of World War II, in 37 nations. A report by James A. Lucas of Counter Currents explains:

This study reveals that U.S. military forces were directly responsible for about 10 to 15 million deaths during the Korean and Vietnam Wars and the two Iraq Wars. The Korean War also includes Chinese deaths while the Vietnam War also includes fatalities in Cambodia and Laos.

The American public probably is not aware of these numbers and knows even less about the proxy wars for which the United States is also responsible. In the latter wars there were between nine and 14 million deaths in Afghanistan, Angola, Democratic Republic of the Congo, East Timor, Guatemala, Indonesia, Pakistan and Sudan.

These figures do not include the full figures of more recent violations, such as drone strikes in Pakistan, Yemen, Somalia and Afghanistan.

--Let's hope these numbers are exaggerated? But I wouldn't be surprised if those numbers are accurate, America has been the NUMBER ONE exterminator of innocent life for a very long time now.

How can we be number one exterminator when like Moa killed like 78 million people, 78 is way more than 20 unless my math is wrong. Stalin killed like 60 million people, and that still way more than 20.

I'm talking for the past 16 years specifically that America has been number one, but I know all about Mao and Stalin.

I've never seen sources that say Stalin is responsible for 60 million dead, but I've seen some that say 20 million. Mao is possibly around the 70 million range, depending on the source that's believed.

Fun fact: Winston Churchill was a White supremacist who may be responsible for the deaths of over 22 million people.

The British Empire killed over 150 million people since the 1700s, making it more deadly then the Nazi Empire and even the Soviet Union. Just found this out about a few days ago, I knew Churchill killed a ton of Africans and Indians, but I didn't know his crimes were large to this extent.

Just thought I'd bring this up, since we've mentioned Mao and Stalin.

Yeah, Britain's history is pretty damn shameful. I see programs on how horrible the Nazis were, and how bad Stalin was, but for some interesting reason, cable and TV programs rarely mention how horrible the crimes of the British Empire were.

One can argue their former empire is partly/hugely responsible for the problems in Iraq and the Middle East now. Africa and India for sure as well.

I always had the British, Nazi, and Spanish Empires as being among the top 5 most fucked up, evil empires in history. Number one the British, but the Spanish are definitely up there. The Japanese as well, look up Unit 731 if you haven't already, I had chills reading up on that.

Hey, who here is ready for World War 3???? After America ILLEGALLY shot down a Syrian air fighter jet yesterday IN Syria, despite America having zero right to be there.............
https://uk.news.yahoo.com/us-f-18-shot-down-123000752.html

6/19/2017

After a US F-18 shot down a Syrian fighter, Russia says it will treat US, coalition jets as targets

Russia says it will treat US-led coalition planes in Syria, west of the Euphrates, as targets after US downed Syrian jet after a US F/A-18 shot down a Syrian Su-22 that dropped bombs near US-backed forces.

Russia's defense ministry also says it is suspending coordination with the United States in Syria over so-called "de-confliction zones" after the Americans downed a Syrian government fighter jet.

--HAHAHA, well well well. Let's see how America's corrupt and bloodthirsty government handles this. Will arrogant American idiots in DC keep acting like Syria belongs to them? Is America TRULY willing to fight Russia, ISIS, Iran, and god knows who else at the same damn time??

Things are getting more fascinating by the day. Let's see how the morons in Washington DC move forward.

The way the Japanese treated the Chinese is the most demented shit I've ever read.
