What you dont want is talented people going back. What you dont want is to educate a person is a STEM degree and then send them back to whatever country and benefit that country with the education you gave them. Shit is ass backwards.

Regardless of what my opinion is on deportation, I get the side that says undocumented immigrants should be sent back. Cool. Send the uneducated ones back because they have the higher risk of not being able to make it and bring your economy down. But economically, you dont wanna send people back who are educated in fields like STEM.

There are scanners in the store that are gonna scan your every move and note what you walk out with and at the end of the month you get a bill from amazon with what you took.

I think I agree with you, but I'll just add the minor point that the many of the ones who are educated in fields like STEM (and I would even argue like the Humanities) actively want to and will go back to "help" their families and/or their original countrymen. All sorts of people from Gandhi to Kim Jong-un had done so. Sometimes, you just can't keep them. I see what you're saying though; it's kind of how Germany lost Einstein.
