I don't think Lawrence was wrong for bringing aparna. He didn't know it was a sit down dinner. If it was some shit at a bar and they left after saying hi to Derek like they planned, it wouldn't have been an issue....

But then again this is the nigga that went to Tasha family bbq knowing he wasn't feeling her like that. He can't read social situations for shit.

Gabi, he told that Aparna chick "I'm going to a bday party, but my ex is gonna be there," so he KNEEEEEEEEEEEEW that she didn't belong there. He sensed it. She then decides to invite herself. They knew what they were doing and it was petty.

Exotical only wanted to go to see his ex and size her up looks-wise and for him to prove that he's really over her. She just needed confirmation that they were over and apparently she got what she was looking for when she came strolling outside behind him. He lucky those weren't my friends. Exotical wouldn't have had a place mat at the table and they would be ready to send it up in that restaurant.
 
Last night was easily one of the best episodes of the series. It just felt like everyone was being themselves and not acting. That's good television
