I'm from Boston and I remember when the RSO crew first came out. It must have been around 1986 or 87. The stuff coming out of New York was much better.

But having said that, I've never been much of an RSO/Made Men/Hangmen3/Benzino fan but at least Benzino's voice isn't annoying. I've never had the desire to listen to Benzino nor Eminem but if I had to choose I think I'd rather listen to Benzino.

Honestly I don't listen to either artist but Benzino definitely had a point when he said Eminem was a culture vulture.
