I think Hov killed it on "Light it Up w/ Drake" but, I also think Ross killed it on "Devil in a New Dress".

Comparing Ross to Hov is comparing Derrick Rose or Dwyane Wade to Kobe. One is younger & hungry. The other is still great but, full as hell from years of success. Hov might still have a GOAT album or verse left in him but......for the most part, I dont see Hov doing too many "Mafia Music 2's" in 2011.

The scale for Jay and Ross are two different things. Niggas compare Jay-z raps to Jay-z raps (Reasonable Doubt), they don't compare him to current rappers. If you compare him to Ross, it ain't even close, as can be seen on Maybach Music and Free Mason.

Yeah he came out at a more difficult time. A time when artist had to grind way harder to get exposure. Rap wasn't the huge global phenomenon it is today. No rappers were gettin the huge promotional budgets they get now. Short started out the trunk..matter of fact he pioneered the "out the trunk movement".
