And these niggas wonder why Hip Hop sucks...yall hate on any & every nigga coming up. Done put out piffery for 5 odd years. Its not even premature to big up Ross. Jay-Z dropped in 1996. Hov had NO PROBLEM calling himself King of New York in 2001. Wasn't no one saying he needed more years in the game. I know Hov is a Platinum artist but point still stands. If you dropping 5 years worth of heat....niggas is stupid to say he aint put in enough time.

5 years of heat, his 1st 2 albums was garbage..... shit he only 4 albums deep, niggas acting like he got this vast catalog

Well he did just say Pun and Big.... Like i said Ross Stans are Extreme.... And StillDreaming was talking about PERIOD! not just nowa days and he still aint fuckin with Hov lyrically nowa days So Appalled>>>>>>>>>

You must be like 18.

"Forever Young" Jay-Z is in no shape to be competing with anyone.

"Dead Presidents" Jay-Z.....yea......then we talking. He was GOAT.

But today....I'd listen to Ross before Hov.

The sign of a legendary artist imo, or one of the signs are, can they survive the change in times. DMX didn't survive, Mase didn't survive, Nelly didn't survive, etc; i'll be interested to see if Ross will survive when this reality based raps movement hit the scene.

[Bun B:]

Bun B King of the Trill also one of the dopest,

Whether the streets or on the mic, I'm dope and yes I'm focused,

The gangstas recognize me for my locc ness no joke it's,

Time to shake these haters off like the skin of a Locus,

Or maybe like a python that's the type a shit I'm on,

I wrote this on my iPhone so let me drop this ibomb, I palm

The game like it's a spalding ball and take flight

From the free-throw line and slam it down like I'm the great mike,

Bun an Wayne an Drake in here man this gon be a great night,

Look at all these posers bite our swagger like a great white,

Try to cross me over I just fake left then I break right,

Stupid animal tricks like David Letterman's Late Night,

This that major moment you've been waitin on for too long,

The best that ever did it an doin it on a new song,

UGK an Young Money too strong

Down in the green like a crouton, so what the fuck is you on?

And thats LIGHT... And thats better than anything i heard from Ross....

Basically.....how old are u again lol

I wouldn't call it garbage

IMO

Port of Miami: Underwhelming when compared to the rest. 3.5 out of 5.

Trilla: Dope. Better lyrics. Stepped it up. 4 out of 5.

Deeper than Rap: Found his lane. 4.5 out of 5.

Teflon Don: Good, I liked DTP a tad bit more. 4 out of 5.

Jay-z had the best verse on two of Ross's album period (Maybach Music and Free Mason) and Jay-z consistently still drop better verses than Ross period (Light it up, So appalled, Shinny Suit Theory, etc). The only thing that Ross does better than Jay today is probably select beat, but then again, i don't think Jay-z is tryna make the same sounding album over and over like Ross.

Of Course he's not as great as he was on Reasonable Doubt but he's still better than Ross.... I'll listen to Roscoe Dash before i'll listen to AZ in 2011 does that make him a better rapper? Of Course not.... U need to learn how to separate ur Opinion from what the real is.... Jay-Z Light Up verse is better than Any verse Ross spit this year/last year.... Deal with it....

You know someone has made his mark when they bust out that "well he aint better than Jay Z"

Jay is the 2nd best ever IMO, behind Pac, thats really not a diss to Ross.
