I think he means...Ross just kept it on a music tip. 50 Cent did damn near everything but make music. Getting his bandmates to make music instead of him, Filming Comedy sketches & Cartoons, Videos of Gunplay gettin knocked out, Interviews with babymoms & all kinds of wild funny shit. Ross just took all of that & just made music. And that's why he's still around. Because he made better music.
