I got him at 3

I got Jay, Pac, Nas, Em, Scarface

Cant say nothing bad about him besides his newer shit not intriguing me as much as his older shit but whatever. Its hard to compare rappers to their best work(illmatic)

Aye i like the lil nigga but he's easily the most one dimentional rapper ever to be considered GOAT. #fact musically he's ass. nobody will ever rock to a Nas song how they rocke to PSA or Amibitions az a ryder etcc

Anybody who has come in this thread and argued Jay is better than Nas is a fucking degenerate who don't know shit about rap....period, this goes out to Who Cares, Usmacoon and other fools.

Funny a bunch of fools came into this thread arguing about Accolades, Awards and even relevance on Pop Culture as if those things are significant when judging who is the best rapper. The only thing that should count is albums, lyricism, features etc. The fact that you have to revert to how many grammys a rapper has won, how many white folks in North Dakota know said rappers name just goes to show that you aren't willing to argue on the other aspects.

If we compare Jay-Z and Nas, the stark difference is that Nas musically has continue to age like fine wine while Jay has lost all his integrity and turned into a faux rapping Chris Martin. I can't remember for the life of me a rapper as big as him having such a bad run, starting from Kingdom Come, the albums he has released after have been BP3, and American Gangster, 1 of those albums were good the other was the worst album in Rap history. Out with the complexed rhyme schemes, and crazy lyricism of his old days, Jay Z was instead shouting 'auh' on every track and getting upstaged by his chauffeur J Cole.

While Nas has been on a mean run, HHID, Untitled, Distant Relatives, God Son, Streets Disciple, Lost Tapes have been the albums he has released since Stillmatic, all good albums displaying why he is the arguable GOAT. Then look at his features, in the past two years, Nas has dropped crazy verses on every track he has appeared on from Ross on 'Usual Suspects' Wayne and Rich Boy on 'Ghetto Rich' and the list goes on.

When a rapper has more than 5 average albums in their catalog they can no longer consider themselves a GOAT, Jay has BP2 BP3 Kingdom Come, Vol 2, Best Of Both Worlds 1 and 2

Going through this thread it seems Nas has hurt a lot of white folks feelings, they lambast him for choosing to make an album themed around Africa and collaborate with Damien Marley and K'Naan, they would rather him make songs laced with electro pop beats and have Chris Martin and Mr Hudson has guest appearances.

What you mean musically his ass?

What rapper considered as a Goat contender, plays an instrument?

So why are you saying musically, the fact that Nas doesn't appear on tracks with Justin Bieber doesn't make him ass fool, and Hate Me Now>>>>>>>>>>>all those songs you mentioned.

We get it. You hate Jay and only listen to music that doesnt bang in the whip. Your musical experience within Hip Hop consists of headphones and subway rides. You don't dance with women or attend parties that women go to.

We get it. You love Jay and only listen to music that bangs while riding your skateboard and attending rock festivals. Your musical experience within Hip Hop consists of Golf Clubs and trailer parks. You don't dance with women when you attend clubs, you sip wine and listen to Coldplay while engaging in a cup of tea and crackers.

Wine and tea together seems like overkill.

Nas isnt even on my list

maybe top 30 or 50 if i cant think of any

but there are better lyrical rappers

BIG two albums are better than anything Nas can make

I put Nas with NY rappers like Kiss and Joe

good for a feature but lackluster albums

ts is a moron by the way
