Why so much resentment for a rapper who barely goes gold. You would think he had the game in a headlock the way people stay making threads about him.

real or not.
let's face it, there hasn't been real good rap in almost 15 years.
aside from 1998.

He deserves his props for improving with every release.

nah i dont think of them being anywhere near the same. 50 came out in 03 scorching hot but then cooled off damn near completely by 06/07. ross on the other hand, came out kinda warm but then started heating up as the years went by. not to sound like h-rap, but ross is probably helping the game in someways more than hes making it worse. sure he's pretty much the only commercial 'gangsta' rapper these days, even though we all know he's not truly a gangsta, but he's making good music and giving good rappers like meek, stalley, etc. a chance that they might not have had with other labels.tupacfan35;3935008 said:Co-Sign.
But ross is just another reason why the rap game continues to get worse, just like 5-0 aka 50 cent.
Exactly. I never thought he would've stuck around and actually be making better music back in '06. thought he was another have a hit, drop an album, disappear rapperustreet_monsta;3935001 said:Nah, Ross is a good rapper. He's not great, but he's gotten a lot better since his 1st album.
